I am going to admit that I was reticent to purchase something in another country. But start to finish, Barbara High, the agent with whom I dealt, was stellar. She has lived in Cabarete for a long time and is exceptionally knowledgeable about real estate, the culture, local businesses and more. She went above and beyond at all times on many levels. Once I purchased my condo she was still there for me to support my integration, dealing with the managers, even supporting my travels to other cities to shop. Her associate Rory, was also pleasant and knowledgeable. If you are considering purchasing in the Dominican I would recommend RE/MAX in Paradise.

i've had personal experience with only one agent of this Remax branch, but i wouldn't imagine someone who could do it better. Her name is Julia Rocher, she was very friendly and very willing to show us not only her listings but also from other sites, just for our better picture and comparison. In the future i'll be definitelly contact her directly.

Avoid Cabarete Real Estate REMAX, Ke2Cabarete and Cabarete East Beachfront Resorts. Their owners/administrators (Jens Knof and Wayne Milley) are dishonest, they breach contracts with clients and enjoy impunity.
