This hotel is the best they remember there guest and the staff are so pleasing it just happens to be my birthday and the front desk went out of there way to suprise me with a birthday cake I was blown away. Orlando he is top knotch, and esmerada extremely helpful, makes sure the stay was great I will only stay at this hotel when I'm in Santo Domingo

It is a boutique hotel just right in the heart of Santo Domingo City, the people are very friendly, specially Orlando and Esmeralda in the front desk, this guys went extra mile to help me, I was very impress!!

This is a first class hotel with all the amenities a traveller requires. My favorite is the hotel restaurant which serves a fantastic breakfast buffet. The restaurant also offers a menu with the most tasty dishes. The customer service is also A1.

I have been at this Hotel only for one Night . I had to do legal Things in the City. Very nice desk service very pleasant. the Room very clean with a big Bed and modern flat TV, Coffemashine right in the Room .The bathroom was nice and clean . I found by coincidence the blower in the cabinet when putting my cloth in. The a/c in this Room has been louder than the noisy trucks pass the hotel the whole night . The Maximo Gomez is a Street with heavy traffic till late Night and really noisy , if you take off the a/c this noise you will get. The Taxi service they have is a real ripp off .This Taxis charge in US$ and tripple than local taxi . This is a real bad Thing marriotts should bring changes in because the Drivers give you a receive with the hotels name as service holder. Bad reflection for a good Hotel

Staff very helpful. Great buffet for breakfast and dinner. Clean and kept up well. We are business travelers and been to many Marriott's. This is the best one we've been to.

Good business hotel. Friendly staff. The breakfast is adequate. The property feels a bit run down. The lobby looks nice and remodeled, but the rooms and hallways show signs of heavy use. The A/C unit in my room was extremely noisy and turned itself on and off every 5 minutes. For a business hotel in this price range this should not be the case. Perhaps it was only my room.

Have stayed here many times and the staff is amazing! A decent breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. Comfortable, clean rooms. Strong wifi signal and ok pool. Good fitness center. The computers/printer available were very slow. Maybe need an update or more ram?? Excellent location and just a couple blocks from the Metro station. Lots of fast food and a grocery store near and also close to the Malecon.

When were here we stay there because of the great service and proximity to local things to do in the city. 2 mile walk to the Colonial part of the city. If you're not a city kind of person avoid the walk back after dark. Use Uber.

Was there for three days last week for a business meeting. Nice rooms. Very clean. The fitness room was decent as well and the machines were in good shape. The BBQ out on the patio was good. I brought my swimsuit but didn't have a chance to try the pool; it was small but would have been nice. The servers' English was good despite my nonexistent Spanish. I'd go there again. Comfy beds. A/C was fine. Close to the boardwalk. Breakfast was good. Omelets and pastries, fruit and see fitness room comment :-)
