DO NOT GO HERE! This is the WORST hotel I have EVER been to! I got FOOD POISONING, Strep Throat & BED BUG BITES while I was there! The food was so disgusting & the conditions were so horrible that if they were in the U.S they would be SHUT DOWN by the Health Inspector IMMEDIATELY. The customer service was deplorable, no one helped us, they would pretend not to speak English & then laugh about it while I was on the phone with them. After waiting in line for 3 HOURS at Customer Service we found out they were lying & that it was required for all the staff to speak perfect English. So many people were complaining it took 3 hours for us to even talk to someone about the conditions. No WiFi anywhere, disgusting rooms, bed bugs, dirty un-washed blankets & sheets on the beds! They didnt' even change the sheets from the last guests, there was hair and stains all over the sheets, a cigarette burn on the sheet AND pillow, the beds themselves were damp & grimy, the blow dryer didn't work & when I asked for a new one they told me I had to make a $50 deposit to replace it! From start to finish our stay here was an absolute NIGHTMARE. If you're looking to have a relaxing, care-free vacation DON'T GO HERE, you will have more hassle and aggravation than you can handle. The staff is so slow & incompetent they could mess up boiling hot water! We waited for an hour when we got there just to be told that they gave our room away. The people at the front desk were so stupid & the check in system so messed up that it took them an hour just to check in EACH GUEST. So the check in line was SO LONG! So we had to WAIT 3 hours in the hot, muggy, rainy weather, carrying all our luggage around after being on a plane all day before they could give us OUR room. Then we waited for ANOTHER HOUR to be checked in again & given keys. They require you to wear this ugly, cheap looking wrist band around the hotel at ALL TIMES, if you lose it it will cost you $200! When we finally got our room it was the WRONG one with the WRONG amenities. There was NO HOT WATER so we couldn't even shower. That's when we saw how gross & dirty the hotel room was. Black mold in shower & walls etc. The Power went out at least 10 times while we were there. The whole hotel smelled like sewage (urine & feces smell everywhere). I had to walk everywhere with my boyfriend because when he wasn't with me the male staff & security guards would sexually harass me, making kissing noises, licking their lips, trying to talk me into having sex with them! The staff at the hotel HARASSES you like Car Salesmen the entire time you're there! They get extra money from vendors if they can talk you into buying from their stores, or buying their package deals for things like banana boats, jet ski's, water tubing etc. So they hound you DAY AND NIGHT! The staff would demand tips! They would tell you to tip them for things you didn't even ask them to do, like carry your bags even though we said NO we will carry our OWN BAGS, they picked them up anyway, saying "no problem, I got this for you" & then demand a tip! We tried so many times to file complaints, call down to ask for things like clean towels & clean sheets & they would either pretend not to speak English or they would say "okay no problem" and then they NEVER sent up the things. It was impossible to get help from anyone there. They kitchen staff and bartenders were SO RUDE to you! They would ignore you to the point that you had to yell at them just to be served. They would talk to each other while you were standing RIGHT THERE & not even look your way. It was like that the ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE. Not even the beach was nice! There were bee's EVERYWHERE because of the huge garbage cans on the beach filled with alcohol filled plastic cups. Birds flying at your face all the time too! Garbage was everywhere! There were dead bee's all over the hotel (because it's open to the outside). An absolute nightmare from start to finish. DO NOT GO HERE. Do NOT waste your money. You will be so sorry! I promise you you will have the WORST TIME OF YOUR LIFE!
