The Consular can help you with a lot of your American Embassy needs, but requires more While the Embassy website States you can get an emergency passport here it will take them some time to do so, I'd you need it immediately you must go to the capital. On January 2nd 2014 the Consular was not a native English speaker, good, but not flawless. Over all it's helpful but very limited.
