Such a lovely hotel, clean, organised staff is available whenever you need them. The girl who runs the hotel is well experienced, her name is Sonia, she made us feel like home, gave us a nice room and treated us well.

Great experience. Close to ecuentro beach. World famous for surfing or steps to perla merina private beach. Staff are attentive and aim to please. Will be back for sure.

The experience is incredible. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Live in a tree house, walk the plank and jump into the pool from your living room! The price is very reasonable, the food is amazing, the service exceeded my expectations, and the staff are now our great friends. I give this resort my highest recommendation; if there were more stars I would give them all. Great for families and everyone. I will be back. Thank you for a great experience!

El lugar es muy bonito, tiene un ambiente muy agradable y natural. Pero, el servicio es bastante deficiente y no cumple con lo propuesto. En la reserva decía que tenía 3 camas, TV incluida, vista al mar y servicios de comida y básicos. Sin embargo, sólo había dos camas, no había papel higiénico en el baño, no tenía TV, no había servicios de comida (aunque sí sirvieron desayuno), etc. Me parece que pueden mejorar éstas oportunidades.

Submitted: Jan 6, 2014Stayed: Dec 2013Several couples friends from work in high tech and legal field stayed together over Xmas,Couple from Ireland Brian and Sarah , two expert adventure seekers in Dublin went mountain biking, hiking, trekking and had great fresh fish and lobsters grilled every night. Mark and his wife who works with Elon Musk at SpaceX learned surfing and kitesurfing in 3 days time ! amazing ! they went to the white river rafting in Jarabacoa. The staff at Bohio , Mike and Maria organized the tours with a car and driver. Our Russina friend from Standford University MBA, Andrey had a short but delightful stay and also spent a night in Hotel Dona Elvira same ownership in Santo Domingo. Kirill another russian friend from moscow partied everynight in cabarete (just like in Moscow) and Dan the surgeon from Montreal enjoyed the swimming and liming coktails and good foof from the cooks at Bohio de Playa ! Extatic !
