This vacation was wonderful! Very pleased with the entire experience. My wife and I will return to this resort. The food is great. The burgers at the the beach were very impressive. For a busy burger grill located at an open beach, it was impeccably clean. The same can be said for the resort in general.

Beautiful reasort. The rooms and everything on the property (beach, grounds, restaurant, spa, restrooms) are all very well maintained. The staff is extremely courteous and very helpful. The only drawback was the food. It was OK at best. The specialty restaurants are better than the buffets, but still nothing to rave about. Steak house was, by far, the best meal of the week .

Been there 3 times. Great staff. Could use some updating but overall a great experience. Food was good. The staff make this place what it is. Great house band and singers. The pasta bar at the main buffet is always a hit.

The location, service and amenities (along with the water) were phenomenal. However my wife and I came back riddled with bed bug bites! You wouldn't think that a place like that would be so careless with this but we were thoroughly disgusted and shocked at what happened to us. For the first 2-3 days we thought it was mosquitoes but after we went to our doctor he told us about what had happened. Not going back again and would highly advise people to go at your own risk!

A beautiful beach. The doors in suites are connected to one another(good for families). There's a main reception and lobby to check in in the day and serves as a location for entertainment at night. A variety of cuisines are available, as well as, local bars and buffets that are relatively close. Anyone that prefers not to walk the distance can wait at a stop for the "bus" to come. It travels a set route at the earliest 7a.m and latest 11:30p.m. Staff is very amicable and rooms are always made.

Just returned from 1 week. We both had a great time during our stay. All staff on grounds and front desk were very polite and helped out whenever asked. Grounds, beach, pool areas very well maintained. The only negative comment we have would be the music that is played at the swim up bar. It does not have that get up and party sound. They should play the type of music the entertainment play.that music makes one want to get up and participate. Also the entertainment staff should be more involved with guests and doing more to get guests up and active.

Great resort (no frills) unless you get the platinum rooms, which if you're drinking alcohol, may be worth it. If you have a large party, I would recommend having one person do platinum so you can make restaurant reservations for the evening. There's also a special lounge with computers. The WiFi is not great so if you can bring your own, I would. Amazing resort overall. Great time and lots of fun!

Overall a good stay. I would go back. Would have given 5 star, but the food took it down a notch. It needs to be hot. The food options were good, but it was never hot. The outdoor buffet (especially the meat) needs to be covered due to flies.

You can easily walk the resort in 10 minutes. The tram schedule was more than sufficient if you didn't want to walk. Don't pay attention to those reviews that state the resort was too large to get around or the tram was bad. They either lack patience or too lazy to walk a little.

The beach was clean. The rooms were good. The house keeping were nice.

What made the place was the music and entertainment team. They were very polite and friendly (especially Cocacola and Melvin). They made the atmosphere fun.

Liked the hotel very much, the food, the rooms and the setup was all great. I think for the price it was a great choice for our trip. The only thing that could be improved a little is the entertainment. While in the main pool, the music was not that loud, one time we even asked for it to be raised so we could hear it. Also, being that we were in a Latin island I really would have wanted to hear Latin music. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends.

Amazing Place, the rooms are beautiful, the property is beautiful, and HUGE! They have trams to take you around the property that comes at interval times, or be prepared to walk your ass off! However the food is not the best I but there is plenty of choices and its inclusive, so try until you find something you like. They have a swim up bar, beach bar among many other, many restaurants including an Hibachi, which you have to make reservations. I didn't like much of the food so I had to depend on the late night snack to be my savior, they had fry chicken and fries, which were good. The only hiccup of our trip was there was a mix up with the room, be careful to confirm the number of guest when selecting room options, confirm its for two and not one or whatever #, because they will not flexible with that, you will have to pay for that extra person. It was off to a bumpy start but we got upgraded for our troubles and the entire trip from them was amazing.

Very nice place to visit. Food is great and people are friendly. Royal vacation timeshare presentation wasn't bad either. If you decide to go to the timeshare presentation, just make sure they have your promised gifts before you do it. Otherwise they will sell you on all the free gifts you will get after 1 hour of sales pitch only to tell you some of the gifts are out of stock. Lot of BS. Besides that the hotel was great. Take the platinum suites. It has many perks.

    select other dates.

Visited this Resort about 9 years ago, spent a week. The rooms were spacious, lots of food, not all 5-star but enough variety to meet most palates. Great entertainment at night. Not much to see outside of the resorts, did visit the local wildlife attractions. Nice family vacation if you just want to chill.

So so. I cannot rank this place amount the best. Great staff mostly. Pools are amazingly small for such a huge resort. Beach front is large with lots of palapas. The rooms are good sized. It's the DR so enjoy. We did.

The good things about this place was the resort was beautiful and very well maintained. The beaches were also beautiful and the staff was very friendly and made sure they took care of you the best they could. The only bad parts was the food wasn't very good at all. We are not the type to complain about things like that but the resort really needs to improve on the quality of their food. You dont realize how much how important quality food is until you find yourself sticking to things like rice and vegetables because your scared to eat anything else. Also i know it may sound crazy but the resort is a little to big, You need to wait at the train stops and take a train cart to get around the resort and sometimes the train is packed so you have to wait for the next one. We got lucky our suite was close to the beach so we can walk. Other then that we made the best of it and had an awesome time.

This was my first time to Dominican Republic and I have to say that my stay was very pleasant. The grounds were well kept. House keeping was good. The buffet was definitely my go to place to eat. The evening activities were nice. It gave you an option to get up and dance or just sit back and socialize. Being at the beach was awesome especially when you can have your drink brought to you and refilled without even asking. But I must say there are some people that stood out. One would be Rosendo, he's a bartender in the main lobby and starts work around 6pm. If your looking for exceptional service at the bar, he's the go to guy hands down. Very professional, friendly and he simply just makes you feel like it's all about you. Bonely and Richard were good as well. Going to the guest service desk, there's a young man named Jean, exceptional service and very helpful. Although there is always room for improving customer service, this place and its employees has been wonderful and I would do it all over again.

I thought the resort was very well maintained and rooms were nice and good amount of space. Only cabinet with 2 drawers in the room but you also have a closet to hang your clothes. Beach area was also great with plenty of chairs and sand very clean. If you have young ones they have a great kids pool and kids club my daughter loved it. The big disappointment for me would be the food and drinks. Drinks were very weak and wine was horrible. The service at the restaurants were great and really go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of.

The resort was beautiful. All of the employees were great! They were friendly and always eager to help with whatever you need. From the wait staff in all the restaurants, bars and lounge, the "green men" climbing the palm trees to bring you fresh coconuts, the cleaning staff and the Sales people (Eddie from the spa was my favorite) also Jaime who greeted the people (I believe Daniel Jamie he wrote on his card I asked for) he was a very nice gentleman who answered a lot of my questions about the lifestyle of the people who live and work in the resort and the people of the Dominican Republic. EVERYONE did such a terrific job! The only reason I could not give a 5 star is that we had trouble with our air conditioning in our room. With it being so humid in the Dominican Republic you (well.. I) NEED the air to cool down. The resort did however try multiple times to get it working properly (the HVAC guy was also nice) but with no luck they did end up bringing us a portable air conditioner to use the remainder of our stay. I will add that the resort did offer us to change rooms but we only had a couple days left and would have to move us further away from the beach and I did not want to make that change. Again, Everyone was very accommodating and very nice. I would love to plan another trip back! Thank you to EVERYONE at the resort you all deserve a 5 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Whole resort was well maintained, clean and the personal very polite. Food was just amazing. Before everything there are so many restaurants to choose from. We even didn't managed to try all of them, but those we tried was great. Whole day animation programs. And much more..

There are just many local guys trying to sell something, mostly some trips and souvenirs. Here should be a general rule in effect: don't rush, compare with others and then decide.

Edwardo at Guest service must be reconized. His professionalism is on point. Friendly easy to talk with, and most importantly when I need help I got the help needed. Being in Canada working for many years in the customer service field I can ensure he exceed the expectations for excellent service. Going above and beyond what makes a company successful. Please pass this message to Edwardo.

My husband and I stayed here for our honey moon and it was absolutely amazing the staff is great and always eager to help and dancing and singing constantly!!! For $5 a day you can have a wifi router that works on and off of the resort so that was awesome as well. The food at every restaurant was great! I'm so glad we chose here to stay!!

Been to this resort a year ago so this is a delayed review and certain things may have changed since my last visit.

First of all, I would like to say that this is the best all inclusive I had stayed in and I have been to 3 other resorts in Mexico and one in Cuba.

    Overall:

    Rooms: 5* (truly stunning suites)
Food: 5*- very high quality food both at the buffet and restaurants.
    Beach: 5* Amazing!
Pools: 4* 1 large and 1 quiet pool.
    Facilities: 4*
Staff: 4* Most very nice except several bartenders.
Drinks: 5* Great selection and great quality!
Entertainment: 3*- this is where this hotel loses points- not enough activities from animation team. Party life was truly lacking although there was an on-site casino for gamblers out there.
Shows: 3*- also need improvement- i.e. the lion king was very amateurish.

Overall, I would highly recommend this resort but please improve your entertainment i.e. introduce a foam party and more crazy games and more sport competitions- not only beach volleyball and soccer as well as make the nightly shows more interesting and professional. Otherwise, I would have given it a 5*.

It was my first experience in an all exclusive. The place was well kept and very clean. Food was amazing and so many choices of restaurants which was nice. Beach was to die for. The negative part for me was the tipping and being told by the women cleaning our room that we needed to leave her $5.00 on our last day! We tipped because were human and it`s the polite thing to do but to be told what to give was very distasteful. Some of the staff was so so. I wish they would have been happier but I understand they are not the ones on vacation. They were all very friendly, polite and courteous. All in all, I would definitely recommend Bavaro Princess to my family and friends.
