The place is quite small considering you pay £20 for entry. What is on show is impressive but hard to enjoy or relax when surrounded by screaming kids. Recommended if your life already involves screaming kids.

Really a good place for the kids big and small. Easy access and good parking lot, all cost money. But worth the money you spend here. Not so good restaurant so if you have kids bring your own food. Part of the restaurant is only for this purpose.

Nice aquarium with a variety of fishes and other sea creatures.
Great for kids and adults, nice guides to ask a million of questions.

Really fantastic place even for adults. Great assortment of local fish, and tropical fish. Huge shark tank with glass tunnel, and hilarious sea otters. Very well-kept facility. Nice cafeteria looking out to the sea. Highly recommended.

A nice aquarium overall. The architecture looks great from the outside and I suggest you walk from Amager Beach.
We were lucky to catch a feeding of the sharks and rays in the afternoon and that added to the overall experience. The trainers speak in Danish but they tried their best to summarize it in English for the handful of tourists present. This was very much appreciated.
The aquarium is not too big and that is the only shortcoming. We were hoping to see jellyfish but there were none. Perhaps it's not best for their well-being to be kept in an aquarium.

Split in to very useful sections.
Incredible closeness to the animals. Able to feel fish. We were able to watch the feeding of the fish and also feel the fish.
There is a rainforest section which included interactions with animals from scorpions to tarantulas.response / report this review -

Loved the otters, as well as the deep sea exhibit! The tropical section was really interesting too. Those fish can become massive. All around a good aquarium! The shuttle to and from the city is a huge bonus.

A great aquarium. Large number of tanks and other things to see (e.g. Poison dart frogs) and really helpful touchscreens by the tanks which provide information in multiple languages. The building is impressive and makes the place feel much more spacious than other aquaria. Cafe is good and not too expensive and has nice views over the water. The outdoor play area is great for kids.
It's not big enough to spend a whole day here but well worth half a day.response / report this review -

Fantastic. Easy to spend a few hours there. Huge aquarium with sharks is the eye catcher, but the real specimen of deep sea fish are rare to see and fascinating also. Nordic seas, oceans and tropics are the three themes. Food court terrace is right by the sea! Outdoor playground with water keeps children happy.

Very beautiful building. Located right next to Copenhagen Airport. The exhibits atr very nice, there are live shows for kids during the day (only in Danish). We visited in summer just before going to the airport. You could spend a few hours but if you don't have that much time it's possible to see the whole aquarium in 60-90 minutes.

Everything was very nice, the fish, the tanks and the rest of the animals in excellent condition and the information provided very clear except that during the "feeding of the sharks" time the instructor was speaking only in Danish despite the fact that almost half of the people attending were foreigners. We left half way because we couldn't understand. Same..

A very beautiful aquarium with several feedings over the day and direct contact to the fishes and sea-animals. Nice way of information by displays next to every aquarium. A little bit pity: the explanations during the feedings are only in danish and many of the information screens show much more informations in danish than in english. A little bit pity for international visitors

Smaller than expected but a great place to see. They have wonderful exhibits and a nice electronic tablet like information centers at each.

A very well design and pleasant to visit aquarium. It's fun as well for children or adults. It's not huge, so you can decide to walk through it in an hour or observe all the aquarium and attend the otter and fish feeding events. Not expensive compared to aquarium in other countries I've been to.
An easy 15 minutes walk from the airport. Free cloak room and cheap lockers for luggage.response / report this review -

A must visit place in Copenhagen. You can definitely spend 3-4 hours. It is especially good idea for families with kids - there are excellent facilities for both dinning and picnic.
