Great location and nice place. Also the beds are comfortable and really clean rooms. The only downside would be that you might need to wait for someone else to come talk to you as the reception staff doesn't all speak English. However,there's always someone who does,and they also have Spanish/Russian/Italian speaking staff apart from the obvious German speaking. Overall,great

The hostel is good for what you are paying for. Located very nicely in relation to the Mitte and has plenty of transport options, with trams, S line and U-lines nearby. Very easy to get to from the Tegel airport.
The rooms are basic but have what you need, although some rooms don’t come with their own private bathrooms. Ours did and was in good working order. Sharing with 7 other people was okay, 1 shower and 1 toilet was just about okay, I wouldn’t do it with a larger group. Noise wasn’t an issue, as the street outside is quiet.
The restaurant is fairly cheap and the food you get is good, and there is a locker for storing your things if you have time to kill in the centre before you leave.response / report this review -

We rented bicycles for the day, but we were not staying here. The staff was very friendly and equally as helpful. Checking out the bikes and returning them was a breeze! Thanks for the positive experience!

The hostel is nice with pretty clean rooms and reasonable prices. Also, its location is convenient for transportation and traveling.
However, although the female receptionist tried to welcome and be friendly, she just spoke quickly and seemed to be don't care about my question concerning the price and tax. After some minutes talking, finally she got what I wanted to ask.
Moreover, I feel a bit that she's rather mean to me (or she was just kidding?) when she said that: "I'm sorry, I don't speak your mother tongue". Of course, you are not able to.
So, please try to understand the problem rather than keep talking like a robot.
That's why I give this place only 2 stars.response / report this review -

Great place to stay, our 3 bed apartment was so nice. Staff were nice, but the food on the bar could of been better, not a very good burger.. But gave us all a free drink so nice to see them make an effort to be sorry

Great hostel with a nice bar and good, cheap food. Beds are a little squeaky but otherwise comfortable. Wifi works in the bar and the common room which is a very comfy place. Staff is nice and the location is great. And the 30 bed dorm is nice and quiet, you can sleep at any time of the day and it really doesn't feel like you're sharing the room with 29 other people :D I definitely recommend the big dorm if you are looking for a cheap but good accommodation.
