I understood, that is difficult to have restaurant at evening. In case of good quality and reasonable price, you should test again. Not all guest like to bring in Pizza. Eating in your bar is feeling like Mc Donald.
Seams, you had not good experience with Mini Bar and stopped this service. This support the guest to bring in. Its not easy today, but you asked: what can we do better?
Summary: For 4 star Hotel now at the low limit, sorry. Years ago 2000 - 2010 it was better over all.response / report this review -

Only spent two nights here but it was a really good experience. Clean comfortable room, excellent breakfast selection and very pleasant and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again if re-visiting Berlin - a lovely city with so much to see.

Upstalsboom hotel is located at Gubener Straße 42. It is relatively close to Simon-Dach Straße, where there are many shops and restaurants. The rooms are nice, though a tad narrow. Hotelemployees are really nice and helpful, the culmination, however, is the absolutely marvelous breakfast. Nothing to complain about, although I would have liked a swimming pool

Rooms are small compared to US standards. Beds are comfy, rooms are very clean. Hotel staff is exceptional

Rude Racist staff!! booked a room for one night some weeks ago.. and during the breakfast the waiter at the breakfast bar repeatedly asked me if i was really a guest in the hotel.. i told several time that yes i was even told him my room number.. but he kept doubting i was telling the truth!!

Fantastic place to stay with friendly multilingual staff. Clean rooms and a great buffet style breakfast. Close to transport links whilst being in a quiet location
