Nice and kind staff, be prepared to make a journey if you have a car. It's a hostel and best to be used when traveling on foot.

Very good at serene environment with restaurants spread over the nearby streets. Many room choices, clean rooms, bar friendly staff and good customer relations. Small shampoo, no iron in rooms but at the reception, no lifts, small open space are the down sides.

Steps Hotel is in a lively and inexpensive area and has 24 hours' reception, bistro and bar. Rooms are basic but clean and spacious, breakfast is available for an additional €5 and the U-bahn is less than five minutes' walk away.

Don't expect luxury! It is a hostel. When you need to spend some nights somewhere, this place is perfect. But what I don't like is only one plug (when you need charge phone) per room.

This is a great place to stay if you want to explore Berlin. The place is centered around a cozy quiet garden with tables to sit and have a cold drink. There is a cozy bar/reception with very friendly staff 24/7. They speak perfect english. There is some cool cafés around and its close to a main street. We stayed for 2 nights, 2 adults and 3 children. There was 2 rooms with 2 and 3 beds, respectively. A large bathroom. A table with chairs. Nothing fancy. But plenty of room. It was clean and very fair priced.
