The service was amazing, and that is the least I could say about the hotel
Luxury is found everywhere, the rooms are large and the minibar well stocked. The breakfast is a small party on its own with champagne and even vegetarian meat products.
Amazing welcome! So warm and so much attention!
We came to celebrate a special occasion and every information we gave to the hotel (even trough Booking) was turned into something special from the people of the hotel to feel exceptional.
We’ll come back for sure!
Worth the price of the room. Definitively.
Very nice hotel, perfect location and a perfect attention from all the staff. recomendable.
Nice 5-star hotel. An upscale place
Gehobenes Ambiente und entsprechende Preise. Dennoch sehr gemütlich.
Nice environment, service and very spacious place
stayed there for 3 nights it was a luxury stay. :) rooms are big enough with proper lights and air(if you want, you can open the windows). good food in breakfast.
i only didn't like the internet plan. 500MB for 24 hours with a very slow speed. also it made me feel bad, when i came back from my work, i found out that room cleaning through out my tooth pest and brush. it means, they don't know who is leaving and who is staying.
other than that it was a lovely stay. :)
The Steigenberger Park Hotel is the oldest 5* Hotel in Düsseldorf but also the most modern after its extensive renovation.
Especially the restaurant and bar area were massively improved with the addition of a winter garden and extensive Glas front overlooking the Hofgarten (Park).
Gone is the historic wooden elevator but, modern fire restrictions didn't allow for its continued use.
The Hotel is excellently situated at the end of the Königsallee with its rich choice of shopping but also only a short walk from the Altstadt (old city) and Rhine.
The Opera is in the building next door as are many of Düsseldorf's top museums so, it is the location of choice if we wish to indulge in a weekend of luxury and arts.
The service was fine. The rooms that were supposed to be nonsmoking had obviously been smoked in (I tried two different rooms before deciding not to stay).
A side note: I'm 99% sure that there was a drug deal happening outside one of the rooms, so this is definitely not the type of place for families with children.
