We stayed here from 28 October - 1 November, 2017. Rooms were clean, well designed and functional. Service was impeccable, especially when we had to take our baby girl to the A&E on the first night of our stay and the night staff (Max and Peter and another lady) were so efficient, helpful and kind. Huge and high quality breakfast choice. Great little playroom for the kids just off the main bar/restaurant, which our 10-month-old loved. Only (tiny) quibble would be that the restaurant menu tried a little too hard to provide twists on classics (ultimate burger etc.) when it would have been better to have kept it simpler, in my view. But this is a tiny gripe - this was the first time we have ever stayed in a Scandic and will definitely do so again.

Good location, good price, rooms are spacious and clean, staff is friendly, WiFi is good, free coffee is available all day. There were just a couple of things that bothered me: The two chairs you get in your room are both pretty uncomfortable and there are no good spaces in the lobby or restaurant to sit quietly and work comfortably if you need to. The breakfast spread was the same everyday, which got a bit boring since I stayed for 5 nights. For lunch and dinner they served “fancy” German food in weird combinations, which really wasn’t that great, better to stick to the basics (I am German). They do not offer body lotion for the bathrooms and the big dispensers for soap and shampoo, which are in the shower, are pretty hard to use and frustrated me a lot. You can only use the power in the room when you insert your hotel card into a certain slot by the door, however they only give you one card, which makes it impossible to charge devices while not in the room, which is very inconvenient. Housekeeping made the beds and cleaned the bathrooms everyday but missed out on dusting (some of the furniture is black so it’s visible) and bringing in fresh water glasses. Overall would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Really cool hotel. The corridor carpet looks tired and could do with modernising but the rooms were cool design and comfy. I didn't have air con but my room was cool enough and had great door window. Breakfast was great with amazing variety. Mine were multinationals! There were birds singing in the lifts

The room was nice, I loved the rolly chair. The shower was good, adjustable head and good water pressure. Location is decent to see a few nearby historical spots as well as the large plaza with a mall and entertainment. Staff was friendly. The only complaint I have is that it was quite warm and humid and the in room climate control didn't work. I set the temperature through the TV as instructed but the temperature didn't seem to change at all nor did the displayed temperature. Also it was hot and humid in the lobby and I don't know if this is just a German thing or what but basically they just let it be at the warm ambient temperature of nearly 80 degrees Fahrenheit. If you don't mind those temperatures then I wouldn't worry, but I sweat easily and started feeling gross standing there in the humidity. The room wasn't as hot but still not adjustable.

Clean and well appointed rooms. Area is a bit quiet but it's close enough to transportation and others areas. Highly recommend staying here.

Clean, spatious room. Good WiFi connection. My room view was a building site but no noise issues. Excellent breakfast buffet with a huge range of food. Friendly and professional staff.

This is only my opinion, but it is the correct one!
Have to say, was impressed by this small hotel. Scandic Standard which is a safe bet.
Kids friendly restaurant with a a toy corner. But the best thing about it is the "price / location" ratio. Really good value for money, walking distance to city, and located in a small street with no traffic, really recommend it.
