The rooms are very clean and the personnel is so friendly, I loved the dinner night. Every Wednesday they have a special Eastern European (Croatian) menu where they serve great warm meat plates. Parking is free and sauna only 3€/person. Great place to stay if you are in the area to visit the castle. They provide discounts to the tours!

Took a group of 23 American students here for four nights. Service was impeccable and the food was really really good, home-cooked and super fresh for all meals. Rooms were fine, don't expect an American hotel here because you're NOT in America. It was wonderful. Setting was calm and relaxing, great place to walk and relax after long days of touring. I will be taking another group here next summer without hesitation.

Booked as a base for seven motorcyclist, this was a fantastic choice of hotel.
The hotel is in a beautiful position set in tree lines grounds.
A 5 minute walk into Fussen town.
The restaurant is excellent serving a fine selection of local style food, with several special schnitzel variations on offer.
Super rooms, modern but traditional, the one Ihad offered a balcony with views of the grounds.
First class hotel - well recommended with friendly attentive staff.response / report this review -

We stayed at this wonderful hotel only one night. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Several were fluent in English. Our room looked onto a beautiful park and the balcony opened to the balcony of our traveling companions. The hotel is near the end of a road leading to the mountains. A well tended trail started on a few meters from the end of the hotel property. For anyone wishing to avoid driving in Fussen, there is an easy walking path directly to the old town center. A delightful walk of less than ten minutes. Excellent breakfast in the hotel dining room. We would definitely stay there again.

Ohh gosh The nicest hotel I've ever stayed in! I loved it here! Even though we checked in too late ( around 11 pm) the staff was really nice and friendly and gave us a discount to visit castles! And the view from the window that view!!! The most beautiful view I've ever seen! Rich breakfast. Unfortunately I stayed here for only one night but that's enough to fell in love with Ruchti's. Definitely come back here some day soon!

Nice hotel and really fine collection of wine, beer and food at the restaurant. Close to fussen and very calm, serene neighborhood and best place for couples, solo adventurers to stay at this place. I highly recommend it to everyone!
