The Hotel Christine is a lovely hotel. The rooms are comfortable and you have a shared balcony that runs along the side of the building. You can lower a metal screen for privacy of your room at night if other people are on the balcony. The breakfast is amazing! It is set up and waiting for you in the morning with fruit and breads, and smoked salmon, cheeses, cured meats, yogurt, etc. Then they bring you hot pancakes made to order with fruit. The beds are on the softer side. What I did not like was the man at reception. He was very rude. He mocked the way my husband "walked" to my face asking me "what is wrong with him. He walks funny." We were staying in Germany for 2 weeks, but only 1 night at this hotel so when we brought in our luggage he turned to me and with an annoyed voice asked me "why do you need so much luggage. You are only staying here one night. this is ridiculous." He made us feel very unwanted and unwelcome. I avoided him. However, the rest of the hotel was very nice. there was a tray in our room with candy and snacks. The showers were great. The rooms were comfortable. The location to Fussen where the shops are and restaurants is a short 15 minute walk down a walking path from which you can see the castle. Another downside is that while they offer breakfast, there is no restaurant so you will need to eat elsewhere for dinner. There are plenty of restaurant options in downtown Fussen.

Location is nice. There was a tray of fruit and water at arrival. The owner is funny and cool. The breakfast was nicely setup and good. Only the matress were too soft for me.

Incredible service! The room was beautiful, and had a small tray of fruits for us when we got there. Breakfast was so fancy, good and beautiful! Would definitely recommend!

Top of the line! Starting with the greeting you get by the owner, with a very friendly welcome, and a refreshing drink. The rooms are nice and airy with large windows, ours had the view over the mountains and the castle Neuschwanstein. The friendliness of both the staff and owner is in a class of itself. The breakfast is outstanding,outclassing almost anything. The owner, Kurt, a priced chef, has a very distinct idea how things are done in the dining room, so he will correct guest's lacking the right manners. The hole place is of course kept in spotless condition. Highly recommended!!!

Con un po di ritardo voglio esprimere la piacevole esperienza trascorsa presso l'Hotel Christine. Nell'Hotel, che si trova all'interno di una tranquilla zona residenziale ai limiti del borgo antico di Fussen, si avverte come la sensazione di sentirsi residenti. Essere meno turisti e di penetrare maggiormente lo stile degli abitanti del luogo. Stanze ampie con balcone. Ottima la pulizia. Colazione davvero raffinata servita completamente a tavola. Curiosità: una mattina siamo giunti con qualche minuto in anticipo. Niente da fare. Abbiamo compreso che qui la colazione è una liturgia alla quale vale la pena adeguarsi.

My wife and I visited Fuessen in June 2014. This place offered us a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, the service excellent, the breakfast outstanding.
We had to shorten our stay due to a busy itinerary, and they were very accomodating.
I can only recommend this to anybody who is looking for a nice place to stay at a reasonable rate.

Excellent welcome from the host who met us with a refreshing drink. The breakfasts were superb. The rooms extremely clean, comfortable and very well furnished. Ideal location for the town 10 mins walk. Evening meal availability would have been nice but superb restaurants available in the town.

Although we (a couple with a two and a half year young girl traveling from New Zealand to Serbia) stayed only one night (mid June 2007) our impressions about the hotel and service are excellent. The hotel is really more a guesthouse. It is very clean and spacious, based in residential area with quiet surroundings and a large car park. The host, Her Kurt, is a friendly, big man with the even bigger heart. To get to that conclusion you might need to scratch the surface as he could be a bit gruffly to some guests. We were fortunate to experience the great side of his character. He is a professional chef which is obvious once you experience the breakfast, personally cooked and served by him. Everything is fresh and first class. Using the standard, worldwide hotel chain rating his hotel deserves four stars.
If you require clean, quiet and value for money stay I would highly recommend Hotel Christine in Fussen.
