Great zoo. I went early in the morning and the crowds were not too bad. One tip is to bring cash. The ticket agent at the zoo said they cannot accept any cards except German bank cards. Good thing I had Euro on me.
A great place to take your family or go alone. The installations are diverse but above all beautiful. Could easily spend a whole day here while always being pleasantly surprised.
Germany has some well designed zoos. This is one of them. As they advertise, it's got a good flow, the animals never feel caged in or far away from you. Even if the animals are not there this would be a nice park.
Visited the Munich Zoo with my wife and son. Very enjoyable day! Lots of animals and we were able to see most all of them . Most of the animals were out and we could see them. Lots of places to sit and have a picnic lunch. Lots of walking, not too many inclines or hills .
The Münchner Tierpark is an amazing park and zoo with a difference. Has awesome landscaping, with a wide selection of wild animals like Rhinos, lions, tigers, elephants, polar bears as well as beautiful animals like the peacocks, giant turtles, penguins, birds and golden fishes. A very big area for a family day out or group sight seeing. It also houses several rest stops and restaurants for relaxing and enjoying good meals.
