CAREFUL!!! Their main job is to deceive especially foreigners who do not speak / do not speak well German!!! And they receive plenty of them, since the store is situated in the main touristic place in Munich.
I've closed 2 deals there (in English) before I realized (told by a salesperson on another O2 store on a small neighboorhood in Munich) that the "mistakens" are actually on purpose, so the sellers can get commissions on the extra services/products they sell (without the client's knowledge!). On the first time, I wanted simply to buy a new cel phone (I already had a contract for an O2 number), but ended up signing without knowledge papers by which I contracted a new number. Payment for this new number was deducted from my account for months (even though I never received a SIM card or even bills for this line), until I realized that I was paying O2 twice every month. There was a lot of stress and after other 3 months I was finally able to cancel this second number, but O2 never paid back the other months paid.
On the second time, I went again to the same store to buy a SIM card to use internet on a stick. That was a temporary solution because I was moving and would not have internet at home for 3-4 weeks. The sales person advised me to buy a certain contract with 10 GB internet and total price of 35 EUR (after a 10 EUR discount because I was already an O2 client), which I did. One week later, upon receiving a message from O2 about a service (Games) that I did not buy, I went to another O2 store and asked for clarification. They said I had not only one new contract, but several new ones! Including Games and things like insurance, all of that never even mentioned to me. Moreover, he said I was going to receive in my next bill a charge for 30 EUR just for the activation - of course I had never been informed about that! So the temporary fix for the internet which was supposed to cost me only 35 EUR would cost in the end more than 70 EUR!! Note: NONE of the papers whose copy I received say ANYTHING about any activation fee!
So, my advice to anyone going to this store: BE CAREFUL!!! YOU'RE DEALING WITH DISHONEST PEOPLE HERE!!!response / report this review
