Nice hotel. Took 80 minutes to check in at 11.30 pm!! 3 desks to handle 60 guests stranded after cancellation of flights at Frankfurt.

I would give the hotel usually a 3, if not for the incredible slow staff.
It is simply astonishing to see how little they care about ppl.
- there can be 20 persons in front of the breakfast room trying to get in. Instead of checking the numbers inside, you have to stand 7 minutes in front of the bf room. At least be fast!!!! Ppl. Can look for a free table by themselves! Not everybody wants to wait until you found a free person to guide them to their table and do chit chat! I want to eat!
- every evening there is a line of 10 - 20 ppl in front of the check in and everybody needs to wait 15 min to get a room card or just a room key remade etc. For gods sake, can you please do a proper capacity planning and have at peak times more ppl. there? Why is the concierge standing around not helping? Give him a machine so he can help!
Or setup a terminal for self check-in for ppl. who just want to get into their rooms.
The rooms are decent. Carpet looks quire worn out, but beds are good.response / report this review -

Great breakfast, great staff. Within walking distance of things to see and places to eat. Will definitely stay again when I'm in Frankfurt.

Rather small rooms with tiny, cramped bathrooms with extremely low ceilings. Extremely hot room with only way to keep temperature down being to keep window open despite it being less than 8° outside. Quick checkout not working and long wait to check out at reception. Will not recommend this massively overpriced place.

Wonderful, comfortable beds. Warm and friendly reception with great tips on what to see in the city. Location very good right near the river and many restaurants.

Don't stay here!
We are using a corporate rate (rather cheaper I assume) and the staff said we could only check in at 3 pm although we took an early flight and arrived pretty late.
The staff complained our "category" is not high enough and unless we pay more we could only check in at 3pm.
Unless you willing to pay a lot or having gold membership.
I will never stay in the hotel!response / report this review -

It is a 5 stars hotel really well located in the city. My room had a wonderful view to the main river.

Had to take a Room on the floor for smokers because the hotel was fully booked. Didn't even know this still existed (would've been nice to have been asked about this when placing my reservation via phone). It was disgusting and I had to place my suitcase in the bathroom in order to not have it smell like a cheap bar the next day
There are two tiers of internet, as a guest you only get the slow one
