Hotel was very nice and modern. Internet connection was horrible for a hotel that markets itself to business travel, even paying for the better service. Food in the restaurant was good. Towels in the room could be better quality.
The hotel was really clean and the personal quite nice. The room was cosy and clean. The hotel bar was small compared to the size of the hotel, but quite enjoyable. I would come back again.
Great hotel which is very modern and tidy. Expensive bar downstairs though.
Great modern and clean Hotel. The only downside ist the Location near the Autobahn. Which you can heard in the rooms that are faced this way.
New Hotel with nice and comfortable rooms. It's a bit sad that fhey charge for Internet and the breakfast is very pricey. Also even though the window was closed you clearly hear the noise from the high traffic street nearby.
No complaints. Clean rooms and near Subway
Good location in quite zone. Good hotel
Melia boutique hotel. Nice design but open plan (bathroom in the room with no separate door), so beware if not traveling alone! Great breakfast and friendly staff.
Looks better than it is. Staff is not unfriendly just uninterested. Might be for my lack of Germany speakkng skills.
TL;DR: Nicely designed rooms, hindered by an embarrassing WiFi situation and unhelpful staff.
On the plus side: the rooms were really nicely designed; very clean and modern with an entire wall of the room being a window.
However: the "free" WiFi situation is embarrassing. 100mb limited to 512kbps for one device per room?! This meagre allowance then didn't even show up on my phone, leaving me on roaming data. When I complained at the front desk, the night receptionist was unhelpful, just going "ok" and "that's how it is". It took an unfortunately sharp tone to get a code for the WiFi and no apology, although this code was for the unlimited 'executive' WiFi (which they are easily able to hand out).
To add to this, the card reader in the door was only partially functional for most of my stay. We were given at least 10 room keys, one of which worked for the first day, and one of which worked for the last. For the rest of the stay we were using a single mechanical override key. Apparently the cause was a low battery in the door that was not fixed by maintenance.
In conclusion, the rooms themselves are nice and well designed, and generally the keycards should work, but the whole experience was rather hindered by the unhelpful receptionist.
