Architectonically, the church has very pure interior, supporting the monastic spirituality of the place. The services of the religious order are very contemplative and peaceful. If one looks for a pensive rather than a joyful service, this is definitely the place to go.

Pleasantly surprised but this church. It has quite a sober vibe inside but that makes it very beautiful. I especially liked the stained glass windows which we're modern and pretty.

Another stunning cathedral in Cologne. The architecture is remarkable as it has a cylinder apse, which is a bit different than other regular cathedrals.

Must visit. You don't need more than 30 mins to cover the entire building. The exterior is really massive and interiors are quite simple. It was quite a surprise as we stumbled into this place. Really impressive.

Another great church in Cologne. Not a must see like the Kölner Dom, but if you have time definitely check it out. It's much smaller and more simplistic (although I've been told the simplicity is an artifact of budget and post-war reconstruction).
