Cheap and cheerful. Bit behind the counter was a grumpy git but everything was great. North Korean embassy is next door which was fun.

What you would expect from a hostel.
We stayed for just one night and got little sleep due to our neighbours coming in quite late and being very loud.
At check in, we were each given a postcard with a photo of places in Berlin and a set of towels. One of our room cards did not work but the other did so we didn't worry about it.
The beds were just okay- firm mattresses and lumpy pillows.
The washroom in our room was small but functional. The sink was in the room, not the bathroom, so it could be used while someone else was in there.
Views from the room of Berlin were nice.
Very central location, very close to checkpoint Charlie with lots of things in walking distance.
Desk staff spoke English and were friendly enough.

Fairly standard comfortable sized rooms in a very good location. Approximately an 8 minute walk to the nearest shopping centre, and the gorgeous looking Cinemax Original cinema building. A few issues with noise from other guest staying in the hostel, however that is to be expected in a hostel located near the city appealing to young people!

Stayed here 3 nights in September 2017. Hostel is nice and appears to be a converted hotel. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Didn't eat or drink in the cafe, but it looks pretty decent. The place is unfortunately loaded with school groups and teams because it's cheap, so if you want a quiet sleep this place may not be for you. The hostel is in a great location, walking distance to many attractions and a 2 minute walk from the metro station. Our room had fairly comfortable beds. The room was a good size and had a private bathroom included which was nice. Overall this hostel is good value for the price.

Great double room, really surprised at the quality for the price. Staff have been really friendly and helpful. Pizza late at night was a win :) €2.50 for a small one. Overall experience was great. Only downside is the sightly dirty floor in our room. Would recommend!

This place has an absolutely great service with a very friendly staff that works around the clock to satisfy your every need.
The rooms are always clean and the breakfast service is quite economic and convenient.
It is a very convivial environment where you meet many others from all over the world. You can even meet life long friends here.
This is the best hostel to stay in when you visit Berlin.

The location in mitte is very central close to all the embassies including the North Korean one. The wifi is non-existent and the breakfast does not even have fruit. Rooms are alright though

Good prices (very cheap), location is very good. Floor could use a wipe but it really isn't a big deal. No real complaints tho. Would use again.

Great, clean and inexpensive way to stay in Berlin. The rooms are basic (it's a HOSTEL not HOTEL!) but the staff are very friendly, speak English, and the rooms/dorms are clean and warm. There is a bar for relaxing in the evening and vending machines that cater for most of your needs, and breakfast is available each morning for an additional charge.

Very good place to stay, we booked a room for 4 and they gave us a room for 6. Very good breakfast for 5.5€, close to metro stations and there is the mall in walking distance. The only thing is that, the beds must be more comfortable.
