Very clean with large rooms. The attic window in our bedroom did not have curtains which meant I woke up around 5 am everyday (visited in June). The location was perfect since it was in the middle of all the area trails. The waitstaff were very nice - although they spoke little to no English, they were very patient with our limited Czech and we managed to get by just fine.

The place is well connected to city centre, but when I checked in there was smell in my bathroom. The room becomes hit during the day and there is no conditioning in the room.

Clean hotel with few amenities. Noisy street and neighborhood. Asked for at least a double bed, queen, or king and got standard twin x3.

The hotel rooms are old,we have booked a standart room for 3 persons,but they gave us a standart double room without any pillows for the third person and when we called them,the reception said "come down and get them yourself". Really bad accomodation and bath facilities

Pros:

- Located not to far from downtown Prague as it's only a 30 minute walk. I have walked to the center many times with no problems, just follow the main road to the old city gate and you're in town. Close to train station and corner shops.

- The breakfast was delicious in the mornings.

- The beds were super comfortable and the rooms had a lot of space.

- Close to a great communist memorial that has a massive statue of a national hero on horseback.

- all of the staff I came in contact with spoke English. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't attempt to speak some Czech to them.

Cons:

- the Wifi was always disconnecting in my room and I had to either stand outside the door or go out to the corridor to use it.

- for some reason the lights in the corridor/hallway were not on some days. It's very dangerous and bizarre that you cannot see anything in the hallways and had to resort to using my phone as a flashlight. I am not sure where the switches were to turn the lights on.

- the hotel has a mini bar with a menu of what food you can purchase. I have fancied flapjacks and decided to buy it. Turns out they don't have the item at the back. I don't understand why have something on the menu if they don't sell the item at all?

- the rooms don't come with kettles. Everywhere I went around the world, wherever it be a hotel, small cabin lodge, all of them had kettles. I could not drink my tea that I have brought over on purpose hoping I would drink it.

Great hotel in the old town of Prague You can enjoy the historic city there.. Very professional people in the hotel amd good and very spacious rooms at cheap price
