What an absolute dive. Not worth the money. Staff in the restaurant very rude. My quesadilla Grande pollo should have been renamed quesadilla sin pollo. When I returned it because it had about three pieces of chicken in it they still tried to include on the bill, when I asked it to be removed the waitress/manager rolled her eyes and turned her back to me..all evening not once did a smile break her lips..this woman should not be working with the public..not an enjoyable evening

Ok I guess. Bit pricey for what you get. If cleanliness is top of your requirements then look elsewhere. Booked a double and got a twin, but not too fussed about that. Beds are comfy enough. Be careful because everything in your room is chargeable, even if it appears to complimentary. Best described as a shoddy travelodge.

Based in what looks like an old communist building, the Plaza Alta is nothing special. It's about 6.5km from Prague old town but it's on the tram routes 6 and 12.

The bedrooms are small and quiet with spartan furnishings. The lights barely work (they emit a light glow, leaving the room mostly in darkness).

The food is serviceable but lacks some of the basics. For example; there is no toaster in their breakfast buffet.

The restaurant food is better than the food served to coach groups however it is somewhat misleading. A T-bone steak here, for example is pork.

The staff are reasonably friendly but will not accept Euros, even though most other places in the country do.

There is a supermarket within a 1km walk.

Fast service, good food especially the fries. Only went to the restaurant not the hotel but recommended for a bite at lunch.

Older, but well-maintained hotel. Rooms are clean with basic furniture and equipment. Food is moderate.
Hotel's overall equipment does not correspond to a 4* hotel, it's rather a 3* hotel.

The worst hotel we have ever been at. It is expensive, with cheap rooms and beds and breakfast. What the worst is, that room service stole goods from minibar, which the hotel wanted us to pay for. Advised to miss this hotel from a distance. Be aware!!!

The rooms is 3 stars, but the price and equipment make this a 4 star review.
The garage can be a challenge for big cars and not so skilled drivers. :)
