Hotel decided to hold a private party doanstairs. I've been trying to sleep for the past hour and all I can hear are loud thumping and party noises. A call to the reception was pointless and they refused to do anything about it ! Even though they said other guests are complaining about this.
Absolutely awful and unacceptable
Nice hotel, too close to old town. Excellent breakfast and very hospital concierges and receptionists! The room was just ok for a 5 star hotel. (That's why the 4 stars)
Really nice hotel. Room was a good size and the bathrooms where spacious and clean. The only problem was that we asked for a double bed and they gave us two single beds pushed together. Other than that, it was a good experience
I've just come back from a weekend in Prague with my family. It was also my son's birthday the day after we checked in and as a lovely gesture they sent him a bottle of Prosecco to his room. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The rooms were spotless. The only criticism I would have is on a couple of occasions my other son experienced the maid knocking once and them letting herself in without waiting. The service overall was exceptional and I would definitely stay again at The Gradium.
Our first visit to Prague. We could not have luckier with our hotel. It is centrally located with easy access to public transport. Oh, and they have an incredible breakfast buffet.
The lobby is pretty and nicely laid out. The rooms are also spacious. The beds were also very comfortable. We never woke up early enough to try the breakfast! A few things I didn't like were things like the scent inside the lobby. It reminded me of middle school when kids first discover cologne and think it all smells good. Prague likes to party so prepare to go out late and stay out late. We slept in our first night and the maid gave us attitude. We should have put the do not disturb sign up. Afterward, we put a Please Clean Room sign up but it was never done. Not a big deal since we really only needed new towels which they happily brought up later.
Great hotel, very nice staff members that would always ask if you need help with anything at all, highly positive experience. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in any hotel before. The only issue I had was with the half covered bath in the room, personally I don't like it because it makes the whole bathroom wet, but maybe it's just me? Not a huge problem anyways.
Beautiful hotel! Great location and very conveniently close to most tourist sites.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Their breakfast options was superb and outstanding. If we were to return to Prague one day, Hotel Grandium would definitely be the one we would consider.
Nice hotel, good rooms, very nice bathrooms and a really good location. Especially of you travel by train or/and bus. Very friendly service. They even checked for birthdays of guests and brought a surprise.
At the moment there is a construction site next to the hotel. We've got a room on room away from the wall and had nothing to complain. I would clearly recommend the hotel.
(I nearly forgot the great breakfast buffet.)
Clean and tidy, looks like recent restoration. Very good breakfast. Safe and fridge in basic double room. Friendly staff, free baggage storage after checkout if you are staying till late in the city. Very good location, 10min walk to central square and 5min walk to main train station. Good value for price.
Great hotel! Clean and modern. Nice rooms! Awesome, large breakfast buffet every morning included! Shortcut to Wenceslas square out the back door of the dining room.
Good cozy hotel. Breakfast was good and is included. Only reason why I'm giving 4/5 is because the wifi in our room was pathetically slow to the point of non use. They need to update their routers or something because when you get to the lobby, wifi is completely fine.
Clean, comfortable and quiet.
Room was a decent size, cleaned daily to a very high standard and had a small minibar.
Breakfast had nearly every food you could need, including a omelette and waffle station.
The 'Noodles' restaurant had a huge selection of foods from a variety of countries and a varied drinks menu, service was great here too.
The bar staff were helpful and a selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails were available at a reasonable price.
Staff were polite and happy to assist with any query in perfect English, they even offered us a free breakfast box as we were on a very early morning departure.
It's not often I have no criticisms about a hotel, but in this case there were none.
