I read the other reviews and expected to find a place out of a horror movie. Instead, everything was spot on, clean rooms and clean bathrooms, 24 hour reception and friendly English speaking staff. The only minor downside is the spotty wifi inside the rooms. But at this price, and at this location, I couldn't care less. 10/10 would go again.

Seemed like an OK place at first, but after a few days at the Chili hostel I can say it's one of the worst I've ever been to.
There are BED BUGS literally everywhere; they're in the mattresses, in the blankets, in the closets and lockers and on the walls. The blood spots on the wall show you where people have smashed them.
The service is terrible. The guy who is the day service desk worker is OK, but the others are extremely rude and unfriendly.
The cleaning staff doesn't just clean during the hours between check-out and check-in, (11-14:30). They start while everyone is sleeping at 8:30 - 9, coming into the room to strip beds and mop hours before check-out.
The WIFI doesn't work in all rooms so you must use the lobby, and you cannot use the kitchen without first paying 200 crown deposit every time.
Lame.
Look around before coming to this place, unless you want dozens of bed bug bites.response / report this review -

Good attendance but the building is really old and the facilities are quite bad (no enough connectors in the rooms). The bathrooms and the bed were great, but there is no cool area to stay and socialise. Depressing hostel.

You have to paid a deposit for everything. The kitchen does not have the stuff to cook. The hostel smells bad. There are bedbugs in the rooms and when I complained the manager did not want to talk with me. I am still waiting an email from her. They did not refund my money. Never go to this hostel

We were (my friend and I) pretty anxious after reading a few negative opinions, but it turned out that this hostel was pretty cool and cheap. We got a private room no. 58 which was ok and clean. The walls were relatively thin though and some noises could be heard from the hall, but after all it was quiet. The lack of an elevator might be a bit of a problem. The bathrooms were clean, although quite small and of course not the highest standard. All in all, I would recommend this place if you are looking for an inexpensive place.

Don't waste you time stay here. They are very cheating hostel. I booked for private room but end up by they put me into a 6 bed share room and they just pretend it was right and refused to take about it so I just have to contact my booking agency for the cancellation. Very unfriendly staff. Most of the things in this place just doesn't work properly very dark and the tire floor just about to pearl off. They Said wifi available but just only the reception area and it's very slow.

Very good location within walking distance to many historic places. The staff was very unfriendly and aggressive, demanded credit card details even though a reservation has been made and paid for via a website. Finally got an obscure room in a basement without a toilet, but with a shower. Their level of English was unsatisfactory.

Only good things about this place are incredibly low price and placement. Everything else is just disgusting. Loud, uncomfortable beds, pillows only with feathers inside (because I'm allergic, i had to sleep on my bag), dirty walls, drunk people sleeping in the hall As a confirmation, I post a photo of the ceiling in one of the bathrooms.
It's a good idea only if your budget is very, very low (because i must admit, price is unmatched)response / report this review -

Location is very nice, the hotel is quite cheap. Beds were comfortable, shower was great. However the room was very dark and the bathroom tiny. It was also not 100% perfectly clean - but as said, we paid little money and saw much better rooms (probably for more ^^). I would go back without problem

The location is very good so does the facade of the building looks nice. Also there is a small living room. The reception was smiling when we got there. And the reception area is cozy. BUT, there is no atmosphere at all.. Living room is small and people are just hanging out themselves. There is a kitchen but I'd say it is very dirty and old. The rooms are quite big but the bed sheets are not clean and our door was always open, don't know why.. When we got there, my friend didn't have a pillow and duvet, we had to ask for one.. The bathroom is a total mess. Very very very small and dirty Again but, it is very cheap, nice location, helpful staff, warm enough to sleep and if you are on a budget and not very picky, you could survive there..
