Lovely hotel recently renovated, with great local service from very friendly staff. The only issue I found was that they still believe that showing caged birds is something nice.

Had a wonderful week over Easter at the Med Beach Hotel. The staff were great, extremely friendly and chatty but always professional. The whole hotel was extremely clean and well looked after. The guys at the pool bar, Florin, Patrick, Dracos, Marco and Daniel really made the holiday as well as the lovely Svetlana in the lobby bar. The GM was walking around everyday and seemed to have a photographic memory as he offered us another drink on him every time and seemed to remember the exact drinks we had when we saw him the previous day! We were only B&B so can’t comment on the lunch or dinner meals but the breakfast buffet has everything you would expect from a decent hotel. The only minor down point was that the rooms backing onto the road were quite noisy so if you can upgrade to a poolside room would be advised, however after a few of Florin’s and Patrick’s cocktails I had no problem falling asleep!

Stayed from 4 to 10.03.18. I agree with predecessor. Overall nice hotel. Really good dinners in a buffet form. Every day different menu and nice variety and quality for 30 euro extra. Really liked it. But all drinks and even water is charged extra - not fair policy imho. Sea view rooms cost extra 30 euro. Rooms are generally OK, but nothing special and with a cheap feeling. Friendly personnel. In a good price it is a good holiday hotel.

Good facilities, comfortable room and excellent service. Friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Welcoming to my 4yo and even sent a cake to our room on his birthday.

A fantastic hotel with many facilities! Clean and the stuff are very friendly and accompanying! Good spa facilities and I especially enjoyed the aromatherapy massage! Food is great and fresh with a vast selection to choose from. I enjoyed my stay 100% and I will return again .

I loved it it has 2 swimming pools out side and 1 inside. The dinners and breakfasts are so good you can say you have eaten an elephant
    🤣😎😂.

Good points: Nice reception area, friendly staff, generally nice pool, plenty of sun loungers and a clean beach. Breakfast is generally good (with exception of the scrambled eggs and bacon). Area filled with friendly stray cats even on the property, we liked giving them attention, you may not.

Bad points: Rooms are cramped, with dated decor. The television clearly caters for every language barring English. The twin beds are just pushed together, so if you dare move to the middle you fall between them. The bedding is still kept completely separate.

The in room air conditioning is dire, barely able to keep the room down to 25 degrees on our north facing room, you have to leave the key in all day to keep it running as it takes a good 5 hours to cool it down even that far. The extractor fan in the bathroom also did not work meaning bad smells and steam lingered.

Housekeeping consistently failed to refill the tea and coffee in the room. The curtains were too small to cover the balcony doors (not ideal on a ground floor room facing the main road) and the in room phone didn't work until we realised it had not been plugged in.

During the night, boy racers and rich Russians are constantly racing down the main road, if you have a room facing it then it will keep waking you up. Needs better soundproofing on the windows.

During the daytime they turn the lights off in the hallways to save electricity, except there's no natural lighting so you're just fumbling for your room in the dark unable to read the room numbers. Perhaps this is to hide all the stains on the hallway carpet.

No in room iron, instead there was an "Ironing Room", a tiny room hidden behind the lifts that had a dirty and stained ironing board and an old scaled up iron. Certainly wouldn't touch even a cheap shirt with it.

The meats at the evening buffet were so tough they were difficult to eat, certainly not worth €30 pp. Go to one of the local tavernas and you can both have a good filling meal for the same price as one at the hotel.

Local area seemed a bit run down compared with other parts of Limassol, but at least felt safe.

Worst of all was the constant bare chocolate block connectors and poor wiring hiding behind loose blanking plates. In the room, the hallways and even in the ceiling of the cave in the pool. I would guess it's not good business to electrocute paying guests.

The hotel is fine but they charges for everything. They hid the prices for things in fridge in a draw. The hotel is in no where went for a walk but there was no where. No pavements at the buttom of hotel wouldn't come back here. With a little more improvements.

Very nice hotel, choice of Italian or Japanese food haven't eaten in the Aquarium yet! But buffet breakfast was excellent, fresh made omelettes, fresh fruits, traditional fry up or croissants and waffles wanted. For me the coffee was good! Typical issue with towels on deck chairs before the sun comes up. Few sporadic local shops. Will do a full recky later. Peace n love

The rooms are not 4*, more like 3*.
The pool area and the beach are lovely.
If you don't take an all inclusive then you will end up paying 4 euros for a beer/ juice/coffee.

The hotel was simply WOW !!! The service was more than excellent, the people at the lobby was very helpful when it came to questions about where to go and what to visit in the city. The breakfast was amazing. I would totally recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Limassol.

Great family holiday spent at the hotel, pool wasn't heated so as it was coming to the off season the pool was too cold to go into. Good size room with bunk beds for the kids. Staff were all too kind and very professional.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was acceptable as we have stayed in the superior seaview room but the sights of aging in the room were obvious. The night service was a nice touch to our staying. We always choose H/B and for a change we have experience "table d hote" instead of buffet which was fine. The restaurant we'd dined was beautiful and the food was tasty.

We booked two rooms last year. We enjoyed our stay so much we went back again this year and we booked three rooms. The staff are all very professional and polite and are always ready to help you. We are now getting ready to book this hotel again for September 2017! We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to couples and families alike. The rooms are well kept and they are clean and tidy. The restaurants within the hotel offer " top notch " food. You could choose to eat Cypriot, Japanese or Italian food. There was live entertainment almost every night till about midnight. When you also compare the cost per person per night, with the Hotels in the immediate vicinity, it becomes very clear what a fantastic overall deal you get by staying at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel!
