Just got back from here. We had amazing holiday from start to finish. We were well looked after the food was great rooms were clean and comfy. The spa was amazing must try at least once. Greek restaurant was very accommodating thank you to our waiter who went out of his way on our last night as there was a slight mix up we ended up being booked into the Greek restaurant the same night we were flying however again they went out of there way to accommodate us thank you we love Paphos so we will be back soon.

Very nice adult only all-inclusive hotel. Well cited within a 30 minute stroll to Paphos. Good food, good beer, acceptable g&t. Efficient and friendly staff who make you feel welcome. All areas kept clean and tidy.

The staff makes the hotel! Very friendly, nothing is too much trouble, they really want you to enjoy your experience! Hotel itself clean and has a fresh feel to it (recently refurbished). The buffet style food for breakfast, lunch and dinner is tasty, and has plenty of variety. Room is lovely. The housekeeping can improve on few things (forgetting some towels, turndown hit and miss, laundry service took a long time and was hassle to arrange), but otherwise no complaints! Would definitely stay there again!

We have stayed here twice now and will definitely go back. Lovely welcome, great food and staff. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's not one of those hotels that claim they are a 4* the Cypria Maris is nothing less than 4*. Great memories thank you

Hotel itself is fine, clean, well furnished. Staff are very inexperianced found they did know who was next for serving at any of the bars. The resteraunt staff gave poor service and the food was poor. Would not recomended this hotel.

Me and my boyfriend came for a week's holiday and found it lovely. The hotel had only been open for a week and whilst we could see some teething problems with staff knowing their stuff, it was overall a very enjoyable and lovely stay. The staff were helpful, happy and bubbly and always happy to help or learn new things! We thought the food could be better in terms of taste but it was all inclusive and you get what you pay for. We went out a few times and there's a few really lovely places to eat, see, drink and do. A cab to the harbour from here is about €8 which was fine, cab staff were very professional and helpful. The harbour is absolutely lovely and full of life at night. We found ourselves at Flaires a few nights which was brilliant. Again staff were so professional, fun and not pushy at all. You can get as involved as you want in drinking games etc. Back to the hotel, it's clean, beautiful and peaceful with amazing beach views and easy access to watersports. There is also a path to other hotels which leads you all the way to the harbour (about 45 mins walk) very scenic but hot!! We had an amasing time, thank you for having us!!! 😁😊😁 xxx

Hotel good, all the staff apart from one perfect - more of that later below.
Food needs a better variety for me, some of it very same food different sauce, nowhere near a good enough selection of seafood in my opinion.
Facilities fine, cleanliness fine, although on other floors heard from our fellow guests on 3rd floor it wasn't as good.

Now for the bit that really annoyed me and for me puts me off going back:
Balding, mid fifties, short, dumpy, glasses, waiter called Andreas decides on our last night at dinner to come over to us and say that we are only Bed & Breakfast on list and that we are not all inclusive. I asked him to go and check with reception as we were all inclusive. He came back , "no , no your are bed & breakfast" at which point having been embarrassed by this cretin in front of others I told him to go get the manager, as at this point I was getting ready to punch the rude jumped up idiot.
We had sorted ourselves to all inclusive due to a booking error via Expedia's online booking system upon checking in 6 days earlier and had the all paperwork to prove we were actually All inclusive. Additionally, we had appropriate wristbands on he clearly was to blind to spot, we had also been eating dinner every night in the hotel prior to this.
So my other half went up to our room got all the paperwork which I duly showed to the Food & beverage manager at reception as I had agreed too. Food & beverage manager apologetic etc etc upon seeing my correct paperwork – I asked him to have a proper word with this “Andreas” as was not at all appropriate the way in which will had been embarrassed in front of fellow guests & left it with him as it isn’t for me to discipline his staff
Surprise, surprise next day at Lunch the same vacuous cretin of a waiter Andreas appears asking for guests room numbers as they sit down, comes to us , we give him the room number , no issue so clearly message about us being all inclusive had got through and then cracks some about comment about last night and it being down to tour operator trying to laugh it off - no apology from him at all for embarrassing us last night.
What this idiot fails to recognise is:
The error on the restaurant list is down to the hotel staff not updating it when we checked in to ensure we were on it as all inclusive as we originally booked, and we got reception to change it under an upgrade package for which we received appropriate paper work for.
His way dealing with in front of fellow hotel guests at dinner was wholly inappropriate and he should asked for us discuss it privately.
His own complete lack of apology the following day and trying laugh it off was a joke in itself.

Just shows you one member off staff can ruin your view of a hotel , without him it would be more stars not 2

Judging by the empty pool and the piles of building rubbish nearby too, this hotel appears to be closed for the season. Gaps where doors and windows would have been, are also visible. No safety barriers around the empty pools either, not very child friendly.

Cyprotel Maris hotel, is a great all inclusive with great staff. The food is one of the best I have had on this type of holiday. Weather is great, sea is clear and beaches are sandy. 5star

People here are very friendly, and the hotel looks very clean. I am only using the facilities of the hotel to play squash, which needs some freshening up but other than that its great.

We've just come back from 11 nights here all the staff are very friendly the hotel itself is lovely and clean. We booked a sea view, it was a lovely room on the 2nd floor looking out over the sea and pool area.
I must thank the hotel staff for their politeness, the young ladies on reception, bar staff specially Peter what a gentleman, the chefs, all kitchen and dining room staff you all added to a great experience.
I must praise the domestics for their room services the room was always clean and fresh - Well done ladies.
The food was plentiful and all tastes were catered for at all mealtimes. Thank you.
A special mention has to be made to the Animation team of Andrei, Johnny, Emmi and the new girl Aneesha who arrived the same Saturday as we did, these guys are fantastic came to know them very well and had a great laugh, in my opinion they made our holiday. Every day they went round announcing the upcoming activities for the day but were never pushy. These guys worked really hard were so friendly to all, young and old alike and full of fun. Their evening comedy shows were hilarious, especially their musical instrument sketch and Dirty Dancing!!!! (I won’t say what they did and spoil the surprise) In the daytime, activities included French Boules, water aerobics, water polo, archery and activities were finished off with a general knowledge quiz.
I really hope the hotel keep these guys on for next year because the place wouldn't be the same without them. These guys really need to be praised for all their skills. A very big thanks.
This was our first trip to Cyprus and it won't be the last.
Please keep this hotel as adults only as we enjoyed every bit of the relaxation, just one comment of improvement when it comes to refurbishment perhaps extra 13amp UK sockets around the dressing table, it was not the end of the world but 1 socket meant shuffling plugs around. Never spoilt the holiday and will come back.
Many thanks for a great holiday. Clive & Lisa.
