If you are not a beach person, location is the only thing going for it., close to good restaurants and downtown. Very old and run down. No staff to speak of. Beware if you book through their website, as it is NOT the hotel's website, but that of an Agent. The website has outdated information that is no longer available, such as beach transfers and WIFI in the rooms. Breakfast is limited to only eggs and pancakes or pancakes and eggsevery day.

Dirty rooms and bathrooms with rust an fungy all around. It doesn't deserve a 3 star hotel.

Hotel is in a prime location in walking distance restaurants and shopping areas. The view's from this place is breathtaking however the building needs maintenance.

Me and my husband were in Aruba and wanted to see Curacao so we took a flight and booked at the Plaza hotel for one night. The bad experience started when we arrived to downtown Curacao, no parking !!! I was starving and could not find parking!!! we kept driving looking for the hotel , we were in front of it and didn't know , the hotel don't have anything with the name on it. The bathroom was worst than a roadside motel. The tv didn't work. At the restaurant we order fried rice and got white rice, at the bar I order a bottle of water and got charged $3 dollars, yes USA dollars. At around 8:30 pm we wanted to go out near the hotel for a walk and the security told us is was too dangerous. So we went to bed and at 2:00 am the room got floated, it was raining more inside than outside. We got moved to the room next door. At the checkout we didn't even get an apology. When my husband complained about the bad night we had the lady said "I already know" with an attitude!!! Stay away!!!
