So so much more than a 5 star resort. Stayed here for our honeymoon and were beyond blown away by the hospitality, the food, the location, all the special little details about the room… it was the best resort we’ve ever stayed at and I already can’t wait to go back one year to celebrate our wedding anniversary!! 10/10, don’t think twice.

The basic room is very basic. Be aware that the place is great but is not cheap.

This resort is gorgeous! The accommodation was stellar! Husband and I enjoyed the amenities. Most of the staff were friendly and warm. Only down fall is that they can expand food options to include wider variety options for all meals.

    Beautiful resort with amazing service!
One of the people in our party has an auto-immune disorder and the chef was INCREDIBLY accommodating of her dietary restrictions. The chef came and met with her personally upon our arrival and discussed with her the foods that she can and can’t eat. Every meal that we had included a special entree catered just to her that was AMAZING!

Small but very luxury and lovely resort to stay
Privacy is good.its a bit far away from the center to walk, maybe if you have a better condition than mine.😊
But although its more expensive , you get a lot of relaxed and marvellous special service!
People are very nice and professional!
    Have a good stay!

I'll try to keep this more brief than my TripAdvisor review.

Baoase considers themselves a 5* resort, and they certainly are at the upper echelon of accommodations based on price. To consider themselves 5*, they need to execute like other 5* resorts that I've been to, and they fall short.

The banyan tree room we stayed in was rather small, ~225 sq feet is my guess. It is next to two other rooms that have a walk way right in front of the two doors with glass windows. You have to keep the blinds closed for privacy, and a dark room becomes even darker with no skylight and lots of foliage around. Because of the size it feels cramped and crowded. There is an outdoor shower/bathtub, but the hot water lasts about 7-10 minutes on both, and will turn cool rather quickly. You can't fill the tub up more than 6" if you had the idea to soak in a warm bath. There were a few hiccups in the roomnothing major, but indicative of falling short of "excellence": sink drain kept popping out and stank terribly, vanity light was broken and had to be fixed, wifi was painfully slow and limited just to the room: the resort itself doesn't offer it in common areas.

It is also rather loud where we were staying, which wasn't what I was expecting. You can hear staff wheeling big carts and moving stuff back and forth at 7am. They provide ear plugs because I'm sure they've had complaints.

The service is hit/miss. They hit by coming around every few hours to sweep or turn down the room. It is a miss because the beach service requires a lot of YOUR time to get drinks, food, etc delivered to your table. I had to ask for drinks/food and clean up my table 4 out of 5 times. Everyone is very friendly and helpful at the resort, but you can't consider yourself 5* and then have guests always take the initiative to get service.

Dinner is really good here, especially Asian night, and so is lunch, but it's quite expensive. I stayed in town for a couple of nights and ate at 3-4 places that all were just about as good as Baoase at half the price.

I had communicated with the staff about arranging a small ceremony or place where my wife and I could elope and exchange vows. After a few emails, they said they'd have to speak to management about accommodating an event

Beautiful resort on a remarkable island. The staff is very attentive and courteous. You can't beat having a meal on the private beach overlooking a private island with the Caribbean as a back drop.

Beautiful luxury resort with dining area in front of their man made beach. Absolutely love the ambience here, it is so zen. Definitely the best restaurant in Curacao but their prices is the highest in the island as well as everything is in dollars. You can also pay for a day pass 50 USD per person to enjoy their cabana hut and Beach area. Highly recommend for any couples who is looking for a nice romantic and relaxing day together.

Let’s talk truth here. Baoase is romantic, the atmosphere so romantic. Until you try to take a picture with your husband/friend/wedding guests to check out the bar. They will stop you, and demand, $40 to take a pic. THEY don’t take the pic, it’s so you can take your OWN pics. ‘Cebrities’ they said, but what??? Then, thee the food. Fancy-pants foodie food that’s not mind blowing for major $$$. But to top it off - slooooow service. Order 3 drinks at once, because it’ll be that long before you see a waiter again. Two stars for the atmosphere, that’s it.

The most luxurious resort in Curaçao if you can afford it. For a slightly lower budget you can try the restaurant, which I think is the best on the island. Very creative dishes in a beautiful setting on a private beach.

Food is very good, but also expensive. Problem is that they try to hard to be upscale Not sincere people( manager telling off the employee that tried to help us out, because "he didn't call a head that we were coming".. Right in front of us. Very awkward and embaressing. Difficult to get in without reservation. Things would a lot better if they would lighten up a bit and actually be friendly instead of pretending (the manager)

Most luxurious resort I have ever stayed in. There are rooms and villas available and the top rated restaurant on the island is right at the resort overlooking the ocean! I would recommend this place to any traveller looking to be pampered!

Really nice restaurant and perfect ambience for couples who want some privacy and want to enjoy a nice romantic meal by the sea. Only minor issue I had was the sand flies and mosquitos. Plan to wear long pants and shoes on my next visit.

Great small resort. The kids could roam without supervision and even play in the small lagoon. Food is good yet overpriced.

We can only say this was the absolute best luxury resort we have ever stayed at! From the moment you arrive you are pampered and spoiled beyond your imagination. The staff is second to none. If they didnt have something you were looking for.they found it or created it for you.
The food was so good we only left one night to eat at a restaurant we had heard about up the road. And did we mention how wonderful the staff was? We will be returning and will be telling everyone we meet about this new discovery we have made in Curacao.
