Excellent, profesional staff ( thanks to Yamir for good service ). Snack are really tasty, customers have big choice with food and drinks. It’s ideal place to stay all day. Vievs are amazing, you can feel like in paradise. Swimming pool is big, situated on the coast. At afternoon you can chill with live music. Papagayo is worth your visit.

We stayed in the villas.

Long story short:
Beautiful resort in a great location. I’d recommend giving guests more bath towels and making an easier process for the beach/gym towels. The common areas of the villas are also too hot to enjoy which is disappointing because they’re huge and gorgeous.

Short story long:
Lots of rules and no-frills service (rooms are cleaned every other day, need to go to reception daily to get a new beach towel yourself, questions for requesting more than 1 bath towel per person, coffee for the coffee pot isn’t replenished, welcome packet says they have converters for use- when requesting them, told to go to supermarket and buy one, only 2 keys for rooms that sleep up to 6 people).

The villas themselves are very nice and clean and the location is convenient(3 min walk to Jan thiel beach, 5 min walk to a local gym which you can access for free with your stay, and a full supermarket). The villas do NOT have air conditioning in the common areas (AC is in the bedroom ONLY). we had a beautiful and large common area - but we rarely used it because it was excruciatingly hot in that area. Even with the large fan, it was hard to get relief from
the heat - so when in the villa- we stayed in the bedrooms. The full kitchen is great but again- rarely used due to lack of AC.

The hotel pool and kid area is very nice- even have cabanas at the pool area for use at no cost. Hotel has a restaurant on site that is more upscale and there are multiple others close by you can walk to.

Jan thiel beach is absolutely gorgeous (infinity pool over the ocean) and being walking distance to this and the restaurants on it (tinto, kokos, zest) was ideal. The travel to Willemstad town was 30min and mambo beach Blvd is a short 15m drive.

STAY AWAY!! THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN.. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I LEFT BEHIND MY EXPENSIVVE CAMERA WHEN I HAD STAYED THERE ON NEW YEARS AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE IT! IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 6 WEEKS. I SUBMITTED ALL THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK THEY REQUESTED AS WELL AS MY CREDIT CARD INFO IN ORDER TO PAY FOR THE FEDEX SHIPPING AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO HELP EXPEDITE THE PROCESS.. EXCEPT FOR HAVING ONE OF THEIR RUDE EMPLOYEES SEND ME AN EMAIL SAYING.." this is not our responsibility, and i should be quiet because they are doing me a favor" !!! THIS IS ALLL AFTER HAVING SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS W MY FRIENDS THERE ON NEW YEARS 2017!!!!! ALSO THEY OFFER NO ROOM SERVICE and NO ICE MACHINE!!!!!!!

Nice seaboard location, however lacklustre service level. Basically u have to shop and go to the bar yourself Except waitress Daisy does her best.
U are lucky if you order trice and get one drink. No pot of tea is served.. No better rate is deserved currently.

Beautiful rooms!!!!
We got surprised because of our honeymoon with a bottle prosecco (sparkling wine).
The Beach is also very nice.
The one swimmingpool was dirty and stink a bit. The other one was a salty seawater pool and was very nice to swim and hang out.
The transportation to downtown or to the airport is too expensive. That's really bad!!!
Around the hotel are a few restaurants and bars. One market to buy also some food and beverage.

This is the best beach close to Willemstad (Jan Thiel area), ideal for snorkeling: amazing flora and fauna under water and a surprising sunken sailboat. Most of people there are from The Netherlands. The beach has a white sand and is fully equipped with tasteful furniture. The service on beach is very good.

Relaxed vibe and beautiful view (especially during sun set). Yummy bar food & good selection of drinks. Service can be a little slow (but that's normal in the Caribbean) & somewhere further down the beach there's a pool that has a bit of a sewage smell that the wind carries so unfortunately sometimes you smell it, it's not very prominent but I do hope they fix this- it lowers my rating of 5 star plus to a low 4.
