It was a great night. The good food, the Caribbean music, the ambience everything was amazing. We enjoyed and that was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for this great Caribbean night and ofcourse the tastefull grill.
One of the oldest Hotels in Curacao. And you can feel this "old age" throughout the whole building. But it is not worth the price you pay to stay here. There are far nicer places on a reasonable cheaper price in Curacao.
Great rooms, friendly staff and beautiful grounds. The beach area is amazing with the man-made breakwater keeping waves down (it gets windy here!). All services are right on the beach so you can enjoy the view of the water while having a drink or eating dinner. Easy walk to Queen Emma Bridge.
Relaxation well defined here. You can have a choice of booking a room or a villa. Villas have their own private beach. Service is great here. Location is close to the colorul houses neigbourhood. The beach is good but some areas are a bit rocky
The Hotel is a prime example of blending the Classic Curaçao architecture with the new as this successful Hotel grew and grew. Beautiful gardens and beaches, romantic spots, over the water pier and all wood Jazz Club. Top Cuisine, outside terrace, bar, BBQ. Entertain a group or easily find a cozy quiet spot, what more can I say. Recommend 100%.
This place is beautiful. Small beach with some fish that you can see if scuba diving but you need to go past the rocks to see the schools of fish. Pool is small but the beach is better anyway.
The rooms are nice although a little awkward in design. The room we had had a kitchen, and a balcony as well. There was a separate area for the bathtub that was out of the enclosed bathroom that housed the toilet, shower and sink. Be sure if coming from US that you ask for the adapter because you will need them. They don't charge you for them. We stayed in the octagon.
Overall staff was friendly and courteous. They have a car rental office on site not sure of the prices.
If you like to walk you can walk to Punda to explore. We did it every day.
This place is a relaxing, romantic place. They have no entertainment or night life so if that's what you're looking for this isn't the place for you.
If you're looking for a full service resort look somewhere else. The staff here is not focused on it's clientele. They didn't seem to make you feel welcome, or make sure you're enjoying your stay. Basically if you didn't speak Dutch they ignored you.
Our favorite hotel to stay in. Staff are professional and courteous. Love the buffet breakfast and the Schooner bar for snacks and drinks. The two private beaches are clean.
Nice hotel by the beach with 2 amazing bays great to swim & snorkel. restaurants are delicious and the personel do their best to make your stay enjoyable. the view is amazing!
Very nice and the staff is great. The people staying there are very very very quiet. No music, no talking, no smiling.pretty much they are boring. If you are looking for a fun and exciting place to stay this isn't it. But again its a very lovely hotel.
A beautiful seaside resort, with two private ocean swimming areas and a pool. The rooms are spacious and are well kept. The Blues restaurant within the resort is a great place to spend the evenings for a drink and dinner, highly recommend trying the pinchos - traditional meat skewers.
Nice hotel. Has all you need for a great experiance on the Island.
Usually a quiet beach, but this review is focused on the Caribbean nights BBQ on Saturday's. The food was top notch, all you can eat. I didn't enjoy the music, but if you're into Caribbean music you're sure to like it. It wasn't too loud. It costs 72 guilders or about $40 per person, which is a bit pricey, but the food is well worth it.
The rooms are large. but there is no chest of drawers so we are living out of our suitcases. There are only 2 110v outlets and one of them is next to the door but there are several more 220v. Be sure to bring adapters even though the tourism website implies that yippy don't need them. The beaches and the snorkeling is quite good. The food is also very good but tree service is a bit slow. It is within walking distance of town. We might stay here again but won't pay the extra for the 'Blue' wing.
Great service, beautiful rooms, peaceful. Restaurants were tasty but slightly expensive (same with the rooms). They surprised my husband and I with prosecco and flower petals on the bed when I mentioned it was our honeymoon. I would return.
Beautiful, clean hotel. Beach is beautiful, food was very good. Drinks were great!! Service was fantastic, the entire staff was friendly and helpful. I will certainly be coming back.
This hotel used to be the best hotel on the island. After loosing much of the Grandeur it is now on its way up again. New refurbished rooms and terraces make that is back in the top league!
Great hotel. We had a lovely time here. The private beach is very nice. Lots of space! The food is perfect and enough choice because of the different restaurants at the hotel. We have decided to come back soon!
Beautiful location over looking the tropical waters. 2 areas to swim in protected areas plus a pool. I would go back in a heart beat. Pool water was cooler than the ocean. Dinner was delicious overlooking the Caribbean.
Very comfortable and convenient location.
The hotel has two small, protected beaches and a pool. They also have a good restaurant and a bar with small dishes. The whole place is very peaceful and safe. The "city" is only a short walk away with more bars and restaurants along the way. This is a great base to start exploring from or just to enjoy some quiet time.
Perfect location. Great beach and snorkeling.
Hidden small paradise. Private beach, infinity pool and gym with a beach view. Will definitely come back!
This is an amazing hotel. They made our honeymoon so special. The room was spacious with an amazing view. We were even greeted with a bottle of champagne, rose petals and a handwritten card. The staff, food and beach were wonderful. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back again.
