We stopped by Scuba Lodge to book a 'referral dive' to finish out my certification because our hotel had recommended them. They weren't able to fit me into their schedule but Peter was nice enough to call around to other dive shops he knew and recommended and found us one that had an opening. Super helpful and I really appreciate the above and beyond service.

I have been to Curaçao three times, never ever have I in any place received such a bad service as the day before yesterday, when we came to the Scuba Lodge to have breakfast. I actually had to serve me/ us myself:

    1. Go to the bar and ask for the menu, because the waitress seemingly wasn’t interested to attend us for more than 10 minutes

    2. Go to the bar again and ask for knives, spoons and a forg , because the waitress brought the food left rapidly and ignored any approach, but did bring cutlery only for one, unfortunately we were three and the rest of us didn’t want to eat with their hands either..

    3. Of course I had to beg for the bill and guess what, the young lady was quite offended that I kept the 10 ANG and tipped her only 1 even that was too much for that crappy service my dear!

So happily we only stained there to have breakfast and wouldn’t we have been so hungry it would’ve ended after the first 10 minutes.

This place isn’t neither cool nor nice! We had to change seats three times because the cushions were wet (not moist - wet!) from the sea and guess what, they didn’t care about it, why dry them? Why offer a client a dry and clean seat?

Never would I book a room there, if they treat a paying customer this way, how will they treat you once you have paid in advance?

The staff has been great at helping us get settled even though our plane got in just before midnight yesterday.

Diving staff were quite friendly and relaxed. Good atmosphere. The dive bus they use to get to sites is nice and roomy. Diving group gets 5 🌟. Restaurant on the other hand: wait staff was quite good. location as well. Kitchen staff for the Thursday night BBQ and the BBQ itself was extremely disappointing. Each 'round' I was served a single, small portion. (1 stick of chicken satay, for example) with the next round taking 30 minutes or more. The bite sized piece of fish was overcooked. The burger was under cooked and the replacement burger was cold and raw in the center. At that point I left. Diving with scuba lodge, I happily recommend. Eating there, not.

We were not hotel guests, but we booked a snorkeling trip with them and they are really smiley people! Super friendly people! We enjoyed the snorkeling a lot and discovered beautiful snorkeling places. If you have a problem, they will try to help you as best as they can and they have a big big heart for the strays on the island. The food is also very good and everyone is just really chill and relaxed and always friendly. We really always enjoyed our visits here. Lots of people of all ages, will find their happiness here.

Went to the Scuba Lodge for dinner. Eating place is located in the back of the place, facing the sea, which makes it special. The ambiance is pretty relaxed, decorated Caribbean style, with sand at your feet.
Menu is pretty simple and straight forward. Prices are reasonable, drinks are a bit cheaper than in other places.
    Nice place to have dinner/drinks.

Nice boutique hotel. On ocean but no significant beach. Bedroom has air conditioning only. Good breeze helps. Staff is excellent. Dive shop on site with a great dive crew. 6 dives over thanksgiving all very nice. Tourists area short walk. Safe. Would stay here again .

    Hotel 4 stars
The hotel is cute and service is friendly. We got a room updated to a suite, beautiful property and view.

    Restaurant 3 stars
Food took forever and was just ok. Service was spotty. Ordered the veggie burger and their red snapper. Both are ok but nothing to brag about. Beautiful view though!

The place is okay, just went there for supper. Prices are too European and so is the food. I'd recommend to go local.

The restaurant is behind the Scuba Lodge hotel. Feet in sand with the ocean within a few meters. The many many ships on the water. It's a great view. As is the food. Fresh fish, nice portions. Super friendly staff willing to explain tourists what the must do's are in just week. All in all a great experience.
