Rented surfboards for a full day, the price was cheap but they didn't allow us to surf all the way till 6, that was the closing time.

Whether you are a beginner or looking for the next step, Sean from Boavista Windclub can help you out! With the beginnerscourse he follows you with his boot on the water so you never by yourself. And for the more experienced people he always has good tips/ideas or other material you can rent so you can develop your skills. The wind is usually offshore and the water can be flat or with waves depending on the day, so the location is never boring (we even saw turtles while kiting at sea)!! Sean also took us to the other side of the island for a day to kitesurf there. There was a beautiful beach with onshore wind and beautiful waves. Ask Sean for the best days to go.
Usually and the end of the day the teachers go into the water themselves and when they do you’ll be impressed! It was so crazy to see the guys jump meters high and make the craziest jumps! Even if you don’t kite go the beach just for the show.
We took all of our own stuff with us on the plane, and the club offers a great storage service for only 50 euro’s (including rescue boat service just in case. The wind is usually offshore so it can really be handy). They usually open around 10 in the morning, and the location is direct next to the best beachbar from boa vista (Morabeza) where every monday night they have an awesome reggae party.
If you ever thought about learning to kite, Boa Vista is an amazing spot! Coming back soon!

A great windsurf centre. Friendly, relaxed staff who jump into action when needed. Great current kit to use. The staff are knowledgeable about both windsurfing and the local area. It's in an ideal spot to launch into the bay from. The sea is beautiful and even has a few turtles to be seen.

Nice place to visit and have a drink, play some chess and do a little windsurfing. Tip visit Marina the masseuse, she does wonderful things for sore muscles.
