  Opened our suitcase! Went though it all! Stole items! Stole our go pro camera with all our holiday memories on! I’m Devastated and discusted! I want everyone to know NOT TO PUT ANY expensive/electrical items in there suitcase as have read reviews since of others peoples things being stolen. They left the suitcase in an absolute mess and stole things that we can never get back!

  On return from our holiday we had found our luggage had been opened and our aftershave and perfume removed ( stolen ) then they put an empty box of a completely different perfume back in so assuming we were not the only victims. Speaking to TUI they are not interested which I find absolutely disgusting customer service, What's stopping the airport staff putting something in your luggage and what are they doing with your other items whilst rummaging through ! I can see on here this is not an isolated incident. Safe to say we will not be returning and advising others to avoid the Island.

  The airport experience on arrival was fine, with no real issues.
  
  The departure from the airport was mostly straight forward. However, there seems to be members of staff on the baggage team inspecting luggage and helping themselves to tourists toiletries. Also lost a padlock and baggage strap.
  
  Sent an email to the airport, awaiting a response.

  Kleiner gemütlicher Flughafen, nur das Visum beatragen ist immer nervig. Wir haben es diesmal vor der Reise bei der Botschaft in Berlin beantragt. Dadurch war es für uns sehr entspannt und konnten an den langen Warteschlangen vorbeischlendern.

  Whilst a very nice friendly airport was disappointed to find that a brand new 100ml bottle of Chanel Perfume had been stolen from my case, Leaving the box behind. It can only have been airport personnel as the case never left my side from the hotel to the airport. Would be nice if the airport management team respond to this review.

  A small airport that cannot cope with 4 flights at once. Very slow check-in in sweltering heat. Very slow, chaotic boarding. I realise that part of the charm of Boa Vista is that it is under developed but they need to do better than this. Absolute rubbish

  Heerlijk vliegveld, laat het alsjeblieft zo blijven. Zoveel sfeer en vriendelijkheid dat het uitstraalt. Personeel is vriendelijke en doet zijn best voor de toerist.

  April 2017: Deze luchthaven is leuk en kleinschalig, maar heeft nog enkele jaren ontwikkeling in te halen. Na 18u is ze gesloten (zei de gids) geen vluchten meer. Bij een noodgeval op Boa Vista na 18u moet men mensen oproepen die met auto's de landingsbaan verlichten om een spoedvlucht vanop SAL te laten landen. In dringende gevallen TE LAAT. Want op Boa Vista is geen volwaardig ziekenhuis momenteel.

  Hier beginnt schon der Urlaub, ruhiger kleiner Flughafen, segeltuch-überdacht und frischer als draußen, mit cafe und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
  Durchgehend freundliches Personal, auch die Polizisten und Zollbeamte, obwohl diese bemüht Ernst drein schauen, sind auch Sie Kreolisch-hilfsbereit.

  Small airport. Cheap bar after the security but you're allowed to bring one bottle up to 1.5l through. I didn't get WiFi as mentioned before.
