Arrived late in the afternoon, they did not have our room ready..took us to a room, it had no towels, no soap. Took two phone calls and a long wait for it to arrive. We booked the exclusive end of the Hotel too! Adults only, which was more expensive. |Any questions to the front desk, were only answered with eye rolling, and irritation. Our Air Canada rep was not to found, we weren't told of other restaurants to eat at. Some staff were very helpful mind youbut the percentage not so much. I not a millionaire and spent a lot of money on this holiday. I worked hard and saved for this holiday. Beaches are beautiful indeed, but I will never go back to Cuba

I spent two nights from 09/09/2015 to 09/11/2015 and everything was nice. The view at the beach is beautiful,the staff is very friendly and if you want to go I highly recommend it. The only thing is that my visit to the hotel was too short

We spent the week of April 5 to the 12, 2014 at this beautiful resort, in block 16 near the lighthouse. The weather was great did not rain the entire week, no flies but there are mosquito's out at night, bring some OFF. Its about a half an hour bus ride from the airport and is the last resort on the peninsula. I think it had the nicest flattest beach out of all the resorts we walked down past every day. Food is top notch, always found something to eat! Drinks are made perfectly by some great bar tenders, fist bump Mykel the bartender when your there, he treats you right. Lots of day trips into Havana or site seeing tours available right from the resort. We did a catamaran trip out to snorkel, swim with the dolphins than a lobster, chicken and shrimp lunch on an island. Also took a guided trip into Old Havana, what an eye opener into the rich history and culture, highly recommend this with a stop at the local cigar factory and rum factory.
Every afternoon we came back to a spotless clean room, with some kind of art work made on our bed. Truly felt like a king while we where there. The entire staff was super couldn't have asked for anything better. Loved it so much we are going back this October.
