  Poor, very very tired and no people interest to make improvements etc - staff more interested in their mobile phones and working a tip than you - no hotel professionalism anywhere. Chef on phone during breakfast - staff helping themselves to food whilst guests eating. They say
  come to Cuba before it is spoilt by American money - I suggest wait until it has been. However, Sander the entertainment host excellent.

  Well, overrated is the nice way to put it. The views on the city are very nice though. Swimming pool is small but does it job

  Great views but it's a long long walk into town. Not a few minutes like the description said. Also not super accommodating if you can't speak Spanish. But that's our fault I suppose.

  Hôtel mal entretenue , notre chambre était sale , et les toilettes encore pire !!! les abords du bungalow étaient jonchés de débris végétaux et papiers !!! l'hôtesse d'accueil n'était pas très souriante , et le restaurant situé près de la piscine qui propose des pizzas peut aller prendre des cours , franchement déçu !!!!.

  We have only been in the caves, outside regular working hours of the "La Cuevas" bar - it was still worth it. Kind of amazing how people managed to adapt this place into an bar while keeping original cave atmosphere.

  1 star on my western perspective. Probably 3 stars on a Cuban-tourist perspective.
  The hotel is now down three cockroaches. We killed them in the shower.
  Breakfast and restaurant buffet is quite impressive but of low quality.
  
  Yet only 1 star which is for the view down to the city and the ocean from our bungalow terrace (not available on most rooms). Rooms are dirty and during sunny days extremely hot. Air condition available but very loud due to the age.
  (Spent 2 nights in room 22 in December 2016)

  A bit dated. Liked the breakfast, room is clean and quite spacious. Pool is rather ugly
