This place was great. The owner was easy to deal with and helpful with recommendations on where to eat and what to do. I also really enjoyed the security this place offered. I didn't have to worry about my rental car or leaving things laying around. The programmable digital safe was a nice touch yok. Having a caretaker on site was great and the cleaning staff did a great job and wasn't intrusive. The accommodations were as advertised and the furnishings match the photos. I would definitely stay here again.

We were in Santa Teresa and our reservations at another place were not handled correctly and we had no place to go.
I discovered "Villas Solar" there on the main street through Santa Teresa and called the number on their sign. A very nice young man, "Greg" answered who is also the owner and told him of our plight and he said we are welcome, he had a cancelation and would only charge us the regular price. We were a party of four and stayed in the Papaya Villa.
It was great, so great that in fact after the first night with the plan to stay two nights, we called and asked if we could stay 4 nights and did.
We really enjoyed the stay. The place had full ammenities so we were able to walk just a short distance from the Villa to Super Ronny's and buy groceries and cook our own meals in the fully equiped kitchen. One night we used the outside grill in the Gazebo and got to know the local well behaved friendly dog Luna who lives there on the property. We had two bedrooms on the second floor with independent AC in each room.
Just a short distance away was a ATV rental place and one day we rented a 4 person side by side 4x4 and toured the beaches starting at Cabo Blanco and traveling north to Manzanillo. Just gorgeous beaches and of course we parked and got out to visit the beaches, It's against the law to drive on the beaches and that is just perfect.
The walk to the beach from the Villa was only 5 minutes and we really enjoyed going to the beach and watching the surfers at sunset and hunting for shells. My wife found a very large Sand Dollar. Hats off and thanks to Greg for a wonderful stay.
