Delicious nutritious dishes from local plates to pad Thai rolls and ofcourse the best chocolate cookies on planet earth -which happen to be gluten free. And there's homemade icecream

The food and ice cream are very good and the setting is very nice. We came almost every day of our stay. The staff is very very friendly and nice - however, Robin has a poor attitude and is actually quite rude. She openly admitted to us that a new member of the kitchen staff messed up our milkshake, then looked annoyed when we wanted to get something else. She also spoke coldly and rudely to us and snapped at us You're better off giving your business to a restaurant that doesn't treat their customers like shit - who knows how she treats her employees?

Robin's is one of the only options to get ice cream and healthy food in this small town so I doubt this review can actually stop you from going there. BUT, the food is very average in my opinion. Coincidentally I had the BLT and the fresh chicken wrap as well as another review has had and in my experience it came with almost no chicken and the bacon was very dry and just not very good. The service was also very slow and my girlfriend's smoothey got very melted as well. But the absolute worst part is the owner, Robin, has a horrible attitude. She constantly complained about things being crazy because they were short handed ( I wonder why *sarcasm*). She gave us this are you joking look when two of us payed with credit card and then actually verbally complained when the rest of us paid with the USD. Then we came back later when she was closing saying she is closed at 4:25 when earlier another employee said they close at 5. She then said "yeah everyone just common in blah blah the sign says we are closed" when they were serving people in line! She made a little girl cry because she wouldn't let them in until I said something about that's not how you treat your customers. She responded very hostile. If I worked for her I would walk out on shift too. I hope you find this review helpful because she really made me mad.

Ordered a chicken wrap, BLT, and 2 smoothies. They were rather busy. Smoothies were made and then sat on counter while our sandwiches were being made instead of giving them to us while we were waiting. By the time the sandwiches were made, smoothies were barely cold and no longer appetizing. We ordered to go as we were heading to a SUP tour otherwise would have asked for new smoothies. Disappointing that they would let them sit and get warm. The wrap and BLT weren't that great either. Poor customer service and OK food so gave 2 stars. Great environment and if service were better despite average food would have given better rating.

Very excellent non-dairy sorbet as well as ice cream. I have not sampled their foods menu. In reference to the review further down the line, they do take credit cards now, at least VISA cards. Great atmosphere and centrally located in town.

Great little cafe in Nosara! Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, quick and friendly service. We had the breakfast sandwhich with avocado and the tofu wrap both good size and filling. We also had a build your own smoothieso so good! Couldn't resist the homemade ice cream either! Robin herself was there to help with any questions about the area and news in town. Wifi avalible. Highly recommended! Wish we had more time here!

Robin's Cafe is a nice local eatery near playa Guiones. The food tasted great, but was a little expensive for the portions served. It is cash only! My girlfriend and I went twice, and enjoyed the experience both times. Seating is outside, like most places in Costa Rica. It is beside a dirt road so it can get a little dusty if people drive by in a hurry. Overall a nice place. Would certainly go back if in the area again.
