Nice place, the rooms are very basic. The italian owner is friendly, the shared facilities make contacts easier with the other hosts. Funny room names !

This place allows you to request a booking via airbnb but don't respond. When we got there they said "they don't update airbnb" and they didn't had a place for us.

Pretty basic hostel. Albert, the proprietor, is friendly and welcoming. Rooms are cleaned after people leave, and each room has ample ventilation. Note: we had a two bed private room, with private bathroom and shower. NO hot water. Has decently speedy wi-fi, enough to get a good day's work in if you'd like. Very nice location next to Soda Playa Carmen (a good local food shop), an ATV/motorcycle rental place, and surf shops.
A quick 5 minute walk and you're at the beach. Get to the surf shop and rent a board for $7-$10 and get out to the water!response / report this review -
