The place is very nice, but I'm giving 3 out of 5 since the Pizza I ordered had regular canned mushrooms instead of natural ones, they should've used natural for the kind of place they have and the prices they charge. Overall, service was good. Food in general was average. Would try some place else next time.

What a disaster of a dining experience. Arrived with reservations not to be offer a drink or wine list simply to have our food order taken and then to sit and wait for our entrees watching three table who arrived after us eating theirs. Our waiter avoided our table because he either didn’t put our order in or the kitchen messed up. No apologies or explanations as we sat for at over 25minutes. Then to add insult to injury when the meals did come the pasta dish was over cooked and the pizza undercooked as well as being the wrong pizza! Neither meal was palatable enough to finish.
This place seems to have a deal with the tour companies so they mustn’t be too bothered with the lone diners. Take a miss here there are other really great places to eat in Monteverde.

Delicious food! We are so lucky coming on a raining night, someone canceled their reservation so we can get inside. The owner gave us good recommendations on wine. A must go place in this area.

Very unfriendly staff. Went at 6.30pm for dinner and the server saw us coming in a taxi. As soon as we went in asked if we had a reservation, while almost the whole place was empty. When we said no, he was like call you taxi back and leave. Stunning! And then he said if we wait 15 minutes he can give us to-go food. Very very rude.

Great Italian dishes. they make homemade pasta. Pizza is wood fired and tastes delicious !!! Pasta was wonderful and the coffee was antral treat. Coming back here

Great place to find food with an Italian flare while we were visiting Monteverde on our honeymoon. Up-close views and outside seating in the cloud forest along the back of the restaurant. Service was good and the food was very delicious and extremely fresh.

Pizza was great. Friendly service. Very fair pricing. (We paid $26USD for 2 pizzas and a couple local beers. ) It's a bit out of the way, maybe 1.5km past the mall in Santa Elena. But worth the drive.

Just love it. It's pretty, clean and the food is delicious and it does look like if it were a nice Italian food. Also near to the main place in Monteverde.
