Great happy hour specials 4-7pm every day (4000-4500c). Great view of the volcano from the balcony.

Love this place service was great place was clean. Waitress was polite and patient. Americans you will not be disappointed with the food. Especially if you are from the southwest. I look forward to returning to La Fortuna because I know this place is there.

14 years ago we went here during our honeymoon and we still talk about it today. We are planning for our 15 yr anniversary to go back and enjoy the food and atmosphere again with our kids. To watch Arenal erupt while you eat is amazing!

Delicious gigantic rib eye. Well spiced. Friendly service. Only negative, would be the perfectly steamed veggies did not need so much butter on them for me.

Delicious tenderloin and mushrooms, cooked perfectly as requested, topped off with. Very congenial staff. Could upgrade lightbulbs to ‘warmer color’ led’s.

I should have realized something was wrong when at 7pm no one was at this place. The prices are high and steak I ordered mediocre at best - the caprese salad I had was terrible, the cheese was hard and had a bad flavor. The menu I was given said the taxes where included and when the bill came it had the taxes in addition. I asked the waiter what was up and he said he had given me an old menu and then showed me the new menu as if I should have known? Then he apologized just a little but didn't offer to change the bill Even outside of that there is no good reason to eat here and with lots of other good choices around with better food at lower prices..

Don't be fooled. Tenderloin is NOT but a hard piece of strip steak. I asked Waiter before I ordered it because my wife had dental work. He lied and she wasn't able to eat a $20 piece of meat.

Although the waiter there was really nice, the food wasn't. In fact, the steak we were served tasted and looked a lot like compressed meat. As if it was a large, flat sausage! Don't go, it's overpriced and they don't serve real meat.

Overpriced
Just a fish soup and salad $32 usd, next day we went to a steak house 5 mins up on the same road and we got fillet mignon, a big steak and coffee at the end for $20 some dollars,with a little tour with the waiter showing us bird nests.
