  El Rancho Ania ha sido lugar de parada en el viaje hacia Guanacaste por generaciones. A pesar de la competencia ellos se mantienen, precios asequibles y comida buena sin ser deliciosa. Los dueños deberían explotar más la historia del lugar, puesto que empezaron cuando la carretera era piedra y tierra.

  This was the first and only restautant that was available between Puntarenas and Canas. It was owned by Hannia who cooked for the for the workers who built the highway back in the 60's. Then the the workers finished, left, and she kept serving her homemade meals to the few cars and truck drivers at that time. Now there are very many places to stop and eat. Hannia has passed away but her restaurant is still there just like the old times!
