The closest spot to the beach to get a drink and the food is actually decent. During the high season there's music and debauchery some nights and good party spot. Low season it's pretty chill.

Thoroughly enjoyed my fish tacos although others in the crowd weren't as fond. They did however enjoy subsequent meals and the atmosphere there is great.

I found it hard to find fault in almost any restaurant in Costa Rica.

The restaurant has a decent selection of food choices from breakfast to dinner. This is open air dining right on the beach. If you are a tourist from outside of CR please remember that it is your responsibility to ask for the check, restaurants in CR will not automatically bring you the check (it does not matter if the owner/staff is American or not)

Live music, good food, friendly staff. It’s right on the beach, and has an open atmosphere. We had a great time and I would definitely go back!

Good food, pleasant staff, competitive prices and close to a number of nearby hotels & hostels and car rental store fronts. And maybe a block or so from the beach in Dominical.

This place is the only restaurant/bar at the beach which is worth the visit. Just grab a beer or a simple meal. Lovely!

If money was not an issue at all, I'd give it 5 stars. Now, I can not say that it is expensive as food is great (and service is quite good) and you really do not have many options as good as this one in Dominical. So you know. We do recommend the place, as we may have ended up having food from there 3 times over a 7 days period. We got both local dishes (like casados) and more american dishes. We liked both.

Your experience will depend a lot on what you order.

My wife had an incredible mango and basil margarita and a fantastic sandwich.

I had a watery white Russian and a bland beef stew.

It's generally a run of the mill Beach bar. If you want a cool drink by the beach, great. Not worth making a specific journey though.
