  Loved it, loved it, loved it!! I've been to a lot of places in the world including Tahiti, Brazil and the Greek Islands. This is right up there, particularly if you value peace and quiet. If you're looking for tourists and a lot of stuff to do, this isn't your place. This place is mostly expat American/Canadians with a mix of natives (Ticos). You literally can't be closer to the beach as the law in Costa Rica is no building within 50 meters of the high tide mark. The cabins are cute and simple. The restaurant/bar has great food with very friendly staff. Everyone is very laid back. If you like the Jimmy Buffet lifestyle, you'll love this place. Owners Rick and Lori (or Susan-I kept screwing her name up) were incredibly nice, hospitable and easy going. Booking anything, including private transportation by boat to Golfito it Puerto Jimenez can be arranged easily here. Easy access to Pavones which is a must ride. By the way, you need 4 Wheel drive.
