I began looking at properties in 2012. It was a scary decision buying foreign property with all the leagal documentation in Spanish. I met numerous sketchy realtors before going to Sol Realty. Luckily I met Mark who is definitely someone you can trust. He was very informative about how the transaction would flow. He went above and beyond his duty by helping me get my condo painted, set up Costa Rican bank accounts, found an accountant, found my manager & a Lawyer who continues to update me with changing regulations.

Mark gave me very sound investing advice about going in with my offer and how much it would increase in value over the next five years. My property has increased in value of $60,000 in five years and continues to rent out fully when I am not there. Whenever I am in Tamarindo, I always make time for a beer with Mark!
