  The best company in town! Full service one stop shop. We get all our real estate needs taken care of by these great people as well as vacation rentals and property maintenance and management needs. Heinz and Nova are the owners and they are the best people to work with. So down to earth and professional. They go beyond the call of duty for you always. Ericka the concierge at the office is also super nice and helpful with anything you need. Highly recommend Amigo Realty for sure!!

  We stayed in Casa Dorado for a week and had an amazing time!! Our primary contact was Marco Sanchez at Amigo Realty in Playa Grande. Marco took amazing care of us during our visit. Nova, one of the principles, was also very helpful in setting up the arrangements. Casa Dorado is a fifty foot walk from the beautiful waters of the Pacific ocean. There is great surfing, but also a wonderful sand beach.
  
  Marco introduced us to the numerous local restaurants in the development. Casa Mar Azul was our favorite for a simple breakfast. There is a family of howler monkeys that lived in the trees around the restaurant. The RipJack Inn was a great location for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also enjoyed the Seven Cave Bar & Grill (next to the Will Mart grocery store) for dinner.
  
  The town of Tamarindo is a short walk and boat ride across a river or a twenty minute drive. We had an amazing sunset dinner at the Pangas Beach Club in Tamarindo. The fish was so fresh and they made delicious fruity cocktails.
  
  Another sunset dinner that we really, really enjoyed was the "Lobster Fest" at The Beach House restaurant in Playa Flamingo which is about a thirty minute drive north of Playa Grande.
  
  Marco also introduced us to the Cloud Forest near Monteverde. There are amazing jungle trails with many, many beautiful birds and a variety of other creatures in the wild. It is a long day trip from Playa Grande, but we ended the day at the El Pointe restaurant which is right next door to Amigo Realty. It is a very small, outdoor eatery (cash only) where the menu changes frequently. Their cocktails are based on daily fresh squeezed juices and were delicious. The ceviche was incredible as were the fish tacos.
  
  Rincon de la Vieja was another park that Marco introduced us to. The park surrounds a volcano that is about a 2-1/2 hr drive from Casa Dorado. There are many, many activities in the park that are managed by various tour groups. We got a late start, hard to tear ourselves away from the beach, and only had time for one activity. We selected the mud baths. The bath area is a short hike through the trees from the parking lot. The baths are along a river and are made up of several hot water pools. There are multiple temperatures, but they are all pretty warm. The mud is scooped out of a large bowl and you apply it to yourself with a paint brush. I begged off, but everyone else in our party had a great time.
  
  Our visit was during the second week of May which is the start of rainy season. We typically had an hour or so of rain per day. Much like when we lived in Florida. We were told that August and September get a lot more rain. The upside to an hour of rain a day (start of Low season) was we had everything to ourselves. Restaurants are empty as are the parks and the beaches. I highly recommend the period from after Easter week through May.
  
  We had a truly amazing experience on our first, but not last, Costa vacation !!! The country is amazing by itself, but Marco and Amigo Realty opened it up to us. We are already planning our next adventure.

  Nova and team have sold us 3 properties. Honesty and integrity are keys to success and they have it. They know the area completely and are completely bilingual. They manage our properties and I will always call them for Tamarindo and Playa Grande.
