  Good coffee, delicious cakes and gorgeous patio - garden. Don't miss it out, may be the best coffee in San Jose. Bit more elegant, but so is barrio Escalante throughout.

  Terrible service. Didn't come to check on my table even once or to refill water. Took over 20 minutes to give the bill after asking for it. Avoid

  Really nice trendy place in Barrio Escalante. Really enjoyed the food and the garden inside. Great place to have coffee, drinks or a meal with family or friends. I would say, one of the best in the area. Also, it has a boutique shop with local jewelry, art, and clothing.

  The lamb kebabs were great, as was the coffee pulled pork sandwich. They have a nice (if small) selection of beer. The only weak part of the meal was the apple pie - I wouldn't order it again. The ambiance is lovely and quiet so a nice spot for good conversation.

  I love their patio.
  The salmon on a spinach-pistachio bed and oven roasted potatoes was delicious. They've got plenty of gluten-free options. Unfortunately not so many vegetarian dishes though.

  One of my favorite spots in San Jose. Beautifully decorated with lots of open spaces. The food is top notch and the desserts to die for. An oasis in the middle of not so nice San José.
