Went for 8 yr Anniversarry of marriage on candle night..was wonderful. Excellent food and drinks. Ginger Margarita was perfect..not too sweetnot too strongsame with the Mai tai..best i had in some timereal..not the fake syrups.

Had tofu for an app. As well as the sushi and shrimpTin Jo special was really goodnice touch was the bowl..made of yucca..fried..great to eat!
We had coconut flan for dessertagain real..not overly sweetbut really well done. Don't miss this place.staff was all friendly and treated us with utmost care..on our permanent list of goto places when in San Jose.

High quality food that tastes very good. You can find authentic plates from everywhere in Asia. Excellent service with a lot of attention from Marcel. We even had a free taste of their homemade sorbets before leaving the table!

A wonderful dining experience! The food was delicious. Our waiter, Roma, was outstanding and very attentive to detail, the ambiance was very pleasant. The menu was easy to read, especially for those with dietary concerns. A 5 star rating would have been given if the restaurant was organic.

Thai food in the India room. I was the only single person in this room of 7 tables all full of couples deeply in love. The selection of standard Asian dishes from China, India and Thailand all deliously prepared with fresh local ingredients. Chicken and seafood stir fry, curries, and pad Thai are all prepared with passion unlike that take out place you hate yourself for frequenting back home. I think they even use the fresh love that pours from the India room. So tasty.

Go eat here.
But bring your lover.

All of the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was so beautiful. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - we were even given a tour of the restaurant and told all about their design choices. We also were given complementary sorbet at the end of our meal! We loved loved loved our time at Tin Jo - highly recommend!

This was one of the best restaurants we have experienced while being here in Costa Rica for 5 weeks. The service was great and when you walk in with the decor you feel incredibly relaxed. Super awesome!

Lovely place good full of different cuisine , our waiter Roma was ver nice treating us and giving cultural notes about the art in the restaurant after that we had a tour around the place , very enjoyable hope to go back !!

The food is not worth the money. I ordered the braised pork with veggy and it was not braised. It had small dices of pork and it was stir fried. The bok choy was still raw on the stem. The food service was slow. The best part of my dinner was the egg roll dip sauce.

Tim Jo is a well-established restaurant serving a wide menu of Southeast Asia and Indian dishes. We had a masaman curry and the Murg Masalam. Both were perfectly prepared and presented. The restaurant offers seating in several different rooms with varied decor including a large covered patio with tropical plantings. Prices are reasonable and service outstanding.

To be honest, the shrimp and chicken pad thai I ordered was alright, but not great. I was hoping it would be spicy, it had no spice.
The vegetable pot stickers appetizer I got, however, were really good!
Their drink menu is great! Ginger margarita, lemongrass mojito!!
My friend ordered the shrimp and pineapple curry and really enjoyed it. My other friend got the beef terriyaki with a side of fried rice.
It was not crowded when we got there (Saturday around 7:15pm) but by the time we left, the place was packed.
The service was not very fast, so I was glad we got appetizers.

Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. a the food was nice, we had a very healthy version of Pad Thai. I would definitely recommend it if you feel like breaking off from the usual Costa Rican food.

We were craving for some Chinese food after a week of steak. My friend ordered pad Thai and I ordered the green curry. Her pad Thai was just okay, but my curry was great! The service was really good here.

Excellent food, fantastic vegetarian menu, and wonderful service. Roma our server was a delight and treated us to some complimentary drinks for our first visit to the city and the restaurant. For vegetarians or Asia cuisine lovers this is an excellent spot! Nice area too!

I would say that mcdonalds is better than this dive. The service and waiters was ridiculous and the food was sub par. The other reviews done on this restaurant are mainly people who work there.
