Very "comercial" caribbean food. Cold food. Bad service and some products not available (2 different times, different hour I asked for the traditional cake panbón)

Located in Barrio Escalante, this Caribbean food restaurant is the only option to try rice and beans. Highly recommended

Excellent Caribbean style food. The service is adequate. The place can have a remodeling as it looks old

The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the place has an authentic Caribbean touch to it! The food is pretty heavy, but if you're a huge fan of carbs it's your place to go!!

The food very good flavor. And the owner is the cool a welcoming. I love the decorations and style of the place. I stayed at TripOn Hostel and they fail to tell me about the place of joy!! 10 stars for sure even if they only give 5.

I haven't been in a few years, but it made me a life time fan. I always get the seafood soup. The lemonade is the best, not too sweet or tart, just right. I ordered the red snapper and literally couldn't eat it all. It was a whole fish, that was bigger than the plate. Jerked chicken the same half a chicken. Price around $15, if I was in the U.S. I would've payed twice that.

Food was delicious! No one spoke any English and the menu was only in Spanish, so it took a while to figure out what we wanted to eat. I really liked the rice and beans dish with beef chunks. The lighting was also pretty dark, which was good and bad. I kinda wanted to of my food. I would go again.
