I can't say enough about this amazing property! We just LOVED Christian at the front desk. The room we booked was undergoing maintenance so he upgraded us to a villa with a remarkable view of the canopy and cloud forest. The villa was recently upgraded with a brand new bathroom and walk in shower, mini kitchen, and a wall of Windows. No AC but you don't need it with the windows open you get a great cross breeze. It's close to town and every recommendation by Christian was spot on enjoyable. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing location, our self-catering cabin had breathtaking views and there were lots of plants that attracted hummingbirds and butterflies in the grounds. We were given lots of information on check in, including a handy map detailing local tours and prices in the area.
The cabins had everything you'd need and were spotlessly clean.response / report this review -

Rainbow Valley is wonderful! Located very close to the heart of Monteverde and a quick drive to Cloud Forest. The view is incredible and room was very clean. Christian is awesome!so helpful and personable. Our trip was delayed so he woke up in the night to let us into our room. Also, spent time giving us advice on best things to do and places to eat. Such a good person! Highly recommend!!

Chris is a very hospitable host, and very likeable as an person. Upon arrival he gave us a short brief on the available tours in the area, and his recommendations based on our family and preferences. Great, saves a lot of sorting out and choosing :-) The cabins are set high on a hillside, with great wide views over the opposite cloud forest hills. Also a small kitchen with a filter coffee machine and coffee that help you take in the scenery to the max. Excellent free wifi in the house. The lower cabins are more amidst the trees and lack the views. The lodge is set a kilometer out of the small town of Santa Elena, so it's nice and quiet. He's currently developing another number of cabins/houses some 3km away.
The only downsides were: he wanted to be paid in cash and the lights were cold in colour, but I believe he's changing those.response / report this review
