    Dumpy!
This place is quite the dump. We paid $137 a night which was a total rip off! The place has seen better days, it’s run down, junky, with limited furnishings. We only had AC in one room and the 2nd night it stopped working.
The pool is tiny and the slide is fun except it’s shallow water!
No WiFi which was sort of nice.
    Stay somewhere else!

Avoid at all cost. We asked them to launder our clothes. They accepted, but returned our clothes damaged by their defaultive washing machine. 400USD worth of brand new clothes bought before departure. They said they were not responsible, because they were doing us a favor and that the service wasn't an officially offered by the establishment even though it was offered by an official employee during his duty hours. There was no way of knowing that anyways since they don't speak English contrarily than as advertised. They just chose they weren't responsible. We had to call the police which never showed up probably because they faked to call it. There was no way to explain directions to the place, we had to ask them to call the police on themselves. The employee in question, which is the twin of Pepper in American Horror Story started to be insolent when her boss comforted her on the phone. They have been very disrespectful and unprofessional to us. They didn't have the basic reflex of refunding the room cost and they refused to do it after request even if it would have covered only a small part of the damage they did to us. They are very dishonest people.

Edit: We did paid the full amount of the room (this is a filthy and plain lie from your part). We didn't asked for 400$, but 300$ (another lie) as our clothes were brand new. We have picture of the extend of the damage. Dozens of broken clothe pieces. Showing our name is disrespectful and shows your definitive lack of professionalism and respect. I have reported the latter to Google. Beware people. This place is not legit.

Edit 2: I added pictures of some of the damaged clothes to show we weren't lying.

Rooms were not so clean. Cockroaches a bit everywhere. Definitely doesn't recommend.

Edit: I don't know what's this reply about? Are you confusing me with someone else?

A nice, well priced retreat in the mountains.

My only complaint had to be in the bathroom: the showers were lukewarm. Other than that.. working A/C.. nice ambience, lots of space (two rooms, three beds.. One a king) All for only $55/night? Can't beat it if you want an affordable night in Costa Rica with all the comforts of home!

I liked the rooms, but the food, from the breakfast and dinner i had there wasn't the best. Additional to that, they only serve dinner until 8:30pm so you kind of have to plan your schedule around that if you want to eat there. Otherwise, if you look for a place to sleep but to be most of the day out and eat outside, it will work fine.

Loved these place, it's owned by venezuelan couple and the service is outstanding. The place is beautiful. When you go up the road you'll see a sign for natuga hotel it's the same. Eventhough they say lodge but the sign says hotel not get confused and start to look for the hotel else were.

Wonderful retreat! I highly recommend Natuga. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is beautiful. And the open air bar/lounge/restaurant is beautiful. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. Had a pina colada with the owner and she is a wonderful person! The breakfast each morning was great: omelettes, bacon, traditional beans and rice, toast and jam, all made to order. (also included in the price) Overall we were extremely impressed and feel that we got so much more than we paid for!! We are planning another trip to Natuga in June!
